"We booked this for the good price and it ended up being a wonderful surprise. The kids area and the pool and Spa and rabbits and guinea pigs were all awesome. The room was tiny but comfortable and there was everything we needed. The breakfast was fantastic. We decided to eat dinner there too and it was seriously so so good. I would definitely come here again. Also it was quiet even though it was full and had plenty of kids! "

A delightful stay at this family owned hotel. The hotel is divided into hotel rooms and serviced apartments - if you want self catering make sure you ask for that. Staff are dressed in traditional costumes and the dining room is decorated according to the season. Breakfast and dinner were excellent. Staff spoke good English and were very helpful. Storchen is in the centre of the North Shore, not much to do in the little Village but only a short drive to all the main attractions in the area....
