Ukraine Holiday
A vast country that’s full of intrigue and surprises, Ukraine rewards intrepid travellers like nowhere else. From its endless fields of golden sunflowers to the vibrant beach culture of Odessa, you’ll soon find that this place’s gloomy reputation is ill-deserved.
Ukraine Hotel + Flights
With Expedia, you can take your pick of 2,063 hotels starting at €109 a night here. Hoping to save some money? One of the easiest ways to stretch your budget is to bundle your hotel and flights with our Ukraine Holiday Packages. You can add other bookings as well, like experiences and a rental car. If a trip to Kiev's oldest standing church, St Sophia’s Cathedral, is on the cards, why not add a tour with a local expert to your package?
Your Ukraine Holiday Itinerary
Day 1-3: Most travellers arrive in Ukraine via Boryspil International Airport in the national capital, Kiev. After checking in to your hotel, get out and explore everything this vibrant city has to offer, such as St Sophia's Cathedral, St Michael’s Golden-Domed Monastery and the Ukrainian National Chernobyl Museum.
Day 4-5: Hop on a plane and head to Lviv, Ukraine’s cultural heart. Famous for its beer, chocolate and coffee, this bustling city also has a striking Old Town and many cathedrals to explore.
Day 6-8: You can’t visit Ukraine without stopping at Odessa. This popular Black Sea resort is the perfect place to take a break. Admire the city’s neoclassical architecture and go for a walk down the Potemkin Steps before swimming at Lanzheron Beach.
Ukraine Information
If you’re heading to Ukraine in July, check out the Odesa International Film Festival. This showcase of local and international films hasn’t been around for long, but it has the lofty goal of being “the Cannes of Eastern Europe”.
