If you want to treat yourself on your trip to Norway stay here. Wonderful location, great food, professional staff, multiple pools and everything slows down here. The cider experience is fun. You can have an adventure with Trolltunga Active (an area activity guide service) and then unwind afterwards.

Beautiful location, nice rooms with a view and great swimming pool, sauna etc. Let down slightly by lack of treatments in the spa, food options and hotel run activities. For the activities, they had a desk but it wasn’t manned by the company who ran them and the Ullensvang staff were unhelpful and dismissive about organising. Also oddly the kayaks themselves were stored at the hotel but couldn’t be rented. Dining options were very limited - the restauraunt switches to a buffet in high season which was eye wateringly expensive even for Norways standards. There is a nice restaurant a few doors up for lunch and a pizza place that opens Fri, Sat and Sun but apart from that staying for a few nights would be very expensive and monotonous.

Amazing view, nice place to unwind
A little worn around the edges, but a great place to relax. We stayed here after many days of hiking and enjoyed the spa, sitting on the lounge chairs enjoying the gorgeous view. Breakfast buffet is stellar. Dinner felt expensive and limited dining options in the area so plan for that. Walking distance to the ferry and grocery store. Rooms were quiet and soundproof with good blackout curtains, which made for great sleeping in summer nights when it’s light until very late.

This hotel offers all you need for a carefree holiday right here. They spa comes complete with pools and a cozy Finnish sauna, plus they have a restaurant serving up a free hearty buffet breakfast and a delightful dinner buffet for around $60. This hotel is all about zero stress and maximum relaxation. What's more, prime location boasts plenty of scenic hiking trails and the purest air you can imagine.

Absolutely beautiful location with stunning view of the fjords. Many wonderful amenities such as tennis court, pingpong tables, indoor and outdoor pool(infinity for outdoor), beautiful areas to walk and cozy places to sit. The exercise room/gym is undergoing renovation and I appreciated that the ownership is slowly updating various areas around the property as while well maintained, is slightly worn. However, the staff and stunning view make this a place that we will definitely be coming back to

Beautiful experience.
Beautiful hotel And location. Great to understand the history behind the hotel. Nice, Clean and Neat. It is like a resort. I recommend visiting this place. Negative side - plan well for food timings. Also no other restaurants around in the evenings.

The room to the fiord had amazing views, the hotel has a quite nice spa facilities and plenty of entertainment options inside of the hotel if the weather is not nice. I will definitely come back.

This hotel is basically a summer spa. It was great, the staff were great, and there is a ton of things to do both on-site and in the Em area!

Absolutely stunning area surrounding this property that never gets old and follows you wherever you are on the grounds. Rooms are very nice- spacious, beds are comfortable and bathrooms are big. Staff were very fast and friendly. Would recommend to others.

Glorious amenities! There are 5 meter high view windows from the sauna and the indoor pools, plus a small beach to dive into the chilly fjord, plus heated (not too hot) lazy river and outdoor pools, warm mosaic tables, tennis, etc--all right on the fjord. Amazing property. Dinner was pricey and pleasant, with not much choice and no vegetarian or gf options, but convenient hours. Good breakfast buffet included. Room was pleasant. View was spectacular!

Når et slikt hotel har totalt 8 gjester så bør de sørge for at de får noen av de beste rommene. Å gi oss et familierom med vindu rett ut på veien er ikke noe å skryte av. Vi var på jobb reise og hadde planer om å jobbe litt før vi dro, men droppet det. Ble også vekket av varelevering rett utenfor vinduet. Sett pris på gjestene som kommer hele året uavhengig av sesong. Dette var skuffende for selgere som bor ganske mange døgn på hotel i løpet av året.

Familien hadde et fint opphold. Men det ble dessverre farget av at vi fikk en skade på bilen ved nedkjøring i hotellets ( svært trange) parkeringshus. Vi kom borti en betongsøyle ved nedkjøring og skrapte opp siden på bilen. Vi var nok ikke de første, for det var mange merker og hakk etter tidligere uhell pga. søylen. Dette kunne vært unngått ved enkle tiltak. Skuffende og irriterende.

Lite fornøyd med oppholdet. Spa avdelingen var noe kald og når vi kom opp på rommet og skulle dusje, så var det ikke varmtvann. Resturanten serverte buffet istedetfor ala carte - noe som forøvrig var mulig å lese på nettsiden; den den var både dyr og skuffende. Alt i alt, ikke verdt pengene. Kanskje bedre som et hotell i høysesong.

Vi hadde et veldig fint opphold på Ullensvang. God mat og hyggelig, hjelpsomt personal. Eneste jeg vil trekke litt for er at det er genrellt litt kaldt på hotellet. Jeg er ikke noen frysepinn heller. Bassenget er kaldt, badstuen er kald og det er kaldt i resturangen. Kanskje varme litt bedre opp nå. Strømprisen er ikke så høy som i fjor. mvh Øystein
