Aankomst keurig geregeld. Van te voren informatieve e-mail van gastvrouw gekregen met o.a route informatie. Accommodatie prachtig. We kregen ook een update omdat we de enige gasten waren. Omgeving is prachtig. Enorm rustgevend. Accommodatie niet geschikt als je slecht ter been bent.

The reception help was very friendly and offered instantly a free upgrade for our family. Beautiful landscape and lots of nice outer space are the best things about this place, although the water source contains sulfur (zwavel) that smells.

Het convento ligt heel rustig. Je bereikt het huis via een smalle steile weg. We ...

Het convento ligt heel rustig. Je bereikt het huis via een smalle steile weg. We werden heel hartelijk ontvangen en kregen (omdat het rustig was) een groter appartement aangeboden. Het concerto is gezellig ingericht. Het zwembad was gewoon open ook al was het buiten de gestelde data. Op 20 minuten rijden ligt Umbertide, daar is een winkelcentrum en zijn er restaurants. We kregen tips betreffende restaurantjes die we inderdaad gebruikt hebben en heerlijk waren. Je kan in het concerto niet zomaar dineren, daar moeten voldoende gasten voor aanwezig zijn. De kok moet namelijk van verder weg komen, en eten is dus alleen op afspraak vooraf. Het ligt heel mooi, en midden tussen diverse prachtige steden.

Dit oud kloostertje is een perfecte uitvalsbasis in het hart van Italie. Perfecte prijs/kwaliteit verhouding. We zijn inmiddels op heel wat plekken in soortgelijke vakantiehuisjes geweest, maar deze staat nu wel bovenaan ons lijstje. Fraai gerestaureerd oud kloostertje met daarin een zestal appartementen. We zaten in een vrij klein appartement op de begane grond aan een binnenhofje. De inrichting hiervan was basic maar wel netjes en gezellig. De gastvrouw is zeer hoffelijk en gastvrij en spreekt goed engels. Eigenaar Roberto had vakantie en was er zelf ook. Hij heeft er voor gezorgd dat het ons aan niets ontbrak (limoncello was heerlijk -)). Het (echte) barbequen in de tuin in de avondzon, gecombineerd met het schitterende uitzicht, was een onvergetelijke ervaring.

Het klooster was in eerste instantie moeilijk te vinden. Dit zou erg makkelijk te verhelpen zijn met een kleine routebeschrijving. Er zijn twee tunneltjes. De eerste is bijna onzichtbaar, daardoor ga je via de tweede. Ga je via de tweede tunnel kon je niets aan bordjes oid tegen.

In eerste instantie zeer moeilijk te vinden. Omdat de locaties daar geen adres h ...

In eerste instantie zeer moeilijk te vinden. Omdat de locaties daar geen adres hebben, oftewel geen adres dat in tom tom of garmin te vinden is. Heb je echter de goede coördinaten via de juiste grid weet je blindelings de weg te vinden. Eenmaal aangekomen wordt je ontvangen door een oprecht zeer vriendelijke gastvrouw. Eenmaal gesetteld in je appartement, daalt gelijk de rust over je neer. wat een locatie, gewoon super. Geen stress een mooi uitzicht en toch van alle luxe voorzien. Na een dagje toeren met de motor, kleren uit op het terras en dan plons in het zwembad. Uit eten is iets omslachtiger de dichtstbijzijnde restaurants zijn ongeveer 15 km verderop. dus als je beiden een glaasje wil drinken, geen aanrader. Mijn vrouw werkt in het dagelijkse leven in een klooster en vond dit een geschikte plaats lekker tot rust te komen.
