"This rental was even better than the pictures show! My husband and I stayed with another couple, so it was great that each bedroom had a queen bed and a bathroom. There were multiple little surprise touches...even more than I describe here. The kitchen was roomy, and the living room furniture was comfortable (with 4 power recliners). It was very nicely decorated without being over done. There was a paddle boat to use in the lake, and there were outdoor games and indoor games available. The towels and bedding were comfy, there was a Keurig with coffee, and some extra items in the pantry. Our bedroom even had phone chargers on each side of the bed! Carrie was very responsive to our questions and pleasant from start to finish too! Thank you so much for making us feel like it was home! "

"The room was absolutely lovely to stay in. Me and my significant other were staying here for WE Fest weekend and absolutely loved our time here. When I booked it a year in advance I had some doubts but I was very surprised on how nice it was. Staff were extremely nice. Felt just like staying at home. It was very private and quiet which we loved. Hoping to come back next year and stay here again. 12/10 recommend this wonderful place!"

"We had a nice relaxing week at the Evergreen. We had multiple families stay and it by far exceeded our expectations! The house was immaculate and so beautifully decorated. The communication with Charles the owner was great as well. Highly recommend for a getaway!"

"This is the ultimate relaxation point!!!My husband and I needed a getaway and this cute spot on Lake Ethel was exactly what the doctor ordered! Lake Ethel is such a peaceful location. We were able to enjoy rain every morning of our stay, with nothing but sun shortly afterwards. Gentle breezes kept the bugs at bay and cooled the heat. I saw my first loon during a kayaking trip across the lake one late morning. A pair of these beautiful birds were soaking up the sun while floating. The owners are amazing people. They made check-in an absolute breeze. We only had one minor problem and it was fixed immediately. The owners’ response time is beyond exceptional! They even have a list of things to do handy if you run out of ideas."

"This place was a pleasant surprise with the low price. I was there on a hot day after an outdoor family event and the room was nice and cool with a kick ass air conditioner running. Clean, comfortable bed with a hide-a-bed couch for an extra person. If you're on a budget, this is a nice place with a more than fair price. "
