"this outstanding rustic place of natural equestrian and Belize Riverfront elegance was perfect for this man who stands outside of the crowds of normal people;
perfectly clean private cabin, with WiFi and its own refrigerator, screened-in porch with hammock and outdoor picnicking tables, and restroom with shower and toiletries… were the perfect foundation, with the most attentive of staff and surprise horseback riding and canoeing included with each stay…

"Perfect stay for 4 travellers for 2 nights. Wasn’t large or fancy but suited our needs for the short stay, especially when we spent the day exploring and didn’t need to stay in the room. The owner/manager was absolutely helpful."

"A dream come true in the jungle! Sweet songs is nestled deep in the jungle and the wildlife is phenomenal. Yes you pay for it but once you are there you understand why. It’s about 4 miles on a dirt track to get there which makes you appreciate things just a little bit more. The rooms are very basic though so don’t expect luxury but the wildlife (nightly dinner guest), swimming pool, river (tubing and fishing), staff and quality of food quickly make up for that. Sweet songs is an absolute gem and I hope we are lucky enough to return one sweet day. The added bonus is the botanical gardens which is nestled next to the property - so walkable!"
"The setting in the mountains is beautiful, and the place has a fun, rustic atmosphere. However, there were several disappointments during our stay.
The listing advertises air conditioning, but it’s important to understand that the rooms are screened in, so the AC does not cool the entire room. You can only really feel it when you’re lying in bed with the curtains closed. Also, the air blows directly onto your face, and there’s no way to adjust the airflow. I actually had to sleep with my head at the foot of the bed to avoid having the air blow directly on me all night.
On a positive note, the staff was incredibly friendly, kind, and helpful. They were definitely a highlight of the experience.
Unfortunately, the drinks weren’t very good, and the food was absolutely terrible. If you decide to stay here, I strongly recommend making other plans for meals rather than relying on the on-site restaurant.
Overall, it’s a fun, rustic place with a beautiful mountain setting and wonderful staff, but be prepared for a very basic experience and plan to eat elsewhere."
"Convenient location, across from a grocery store, just a few blocks from restaurants. Hotel rooms and cabanas with a pool and bar area, on-site restaurant and walking trail. Helpful and friendly staff on site during business hours and at night. Basic amenities, secure and clean rooms."
"They’re updating a lot of the properties at this moment, re tiled the pools, built a new outdoor pizza oven, are freshening up the cabana’s, to prepare for the upcoming high season."
"We enjoyed our stay. No internet or TV in the cabins which we enjoyed tremendously. The howler Monkeys in the distance reminded us of jurassic park, small animals with loud voices, we didn't actually see them. Nice moderately strenuous hike in the rainforest on property and a nice inner tube float in the creek to cool off. Food and service was good"
"The Ka'ana resort is a tranquil, clean, we'll laid out property in Belize. It's great for couples and those who want to get away from the noise of life but still close to all you need in the city. The staff and food are awesome. I would stay there again."
"I absolutely LOVED my stay at Falling Leaves Lodge. My partner and I were blown away with the service, attentive staff, beautiful grounds, and clean room. Paula at the front desk went above and beyond for us, whether it was confirming our excursions, arranging taxis, or ordering us early breakfast, she handled it all. The groundskeepers were so kind, setting up lounge chairs and allowing us to connect to the Bluetooth speaker by the pool. The on-site restaurant had a large menu and every dish we tried was delicious. I would absolutely recommend staying here."
"Great stay! Beautiful, quiet, well kept grounds. Clean accommodations and very comfortable beds. Staff was friendly and helpful. Convient to town and free pick for most tours in the area. Would definitely stay again."
