"You have to take a very short pontoon boat ride to the cabins. Once you are at the cabins, you are essentially stuck. The host was nice and ordered us in dinner. He also cut coconuts down from trees when we asked. We drank the water and ate some of the flesh from the coconuts. We relaxed in the hammocks and in the cabin. It was convenient for our morning flight. "

"This was our second time staying at Caribbean Shores. It's clean, comfortable, and the setting is very relaxing. The hot water wasn't working properly in our shower, but it was at least warmer than the solar showers where we stayed prior. Everything is relative. :). "Warrie Head was a wonderful surprise. The grounds are beautiful and swimming in the river is so much fun. The food is great and the rooms clean and well kept. "Beck's Bed & Breakfast is a sweet jewel of a place in a remote region of the Crooked Tree Wildlife Refuge (a birder's paradise). Robert and Becky are warm, incredibly knowledgable hosts and provide a respite from the hustle and bustle of vacation stress and more tourist dense areas. If you love birds and plants and two sweet dogs you will love staying here. They had Christmas decorations galore so we didn't miss out on the Christmas spirit. We wish we could have stayed longer. "We didn’t like it that we had to go through the owners living quarters and we don’t do well with pets inside. We just didn’t like the dog hair and smell in the eating area. This will keep us from going back. Owner was really friendly though."

"Blu Zen was amazing ! The property itself is beautiful ! The 3 pools are nice and clean. They are still adding onto the property so there is construction going on but not close enough to be a bother. The beach part of the resort is not big but also enough for my son to build sand castles and dig. There are no sun loungers on the beach but I didn’t mind. There are two pools right behind the beach. There is a lot of seaweed but they do a good job of cleaning it up. Our 2 bedroom condo was spacious and very clean. No complaints at all. The laundry in unit was super convenient. The ferry to the main island is also very convenient. The two restaurants are good but the food on the main island is worth the 5 min boat ride. The staff is super nice and helpful, Jairo made us feel right at home, he was amazing. The pools were never packed. Some days we had it all to ourselves. I can’t rave about this place enough. "

"We loved that many of the staff members remembered our names. Henry, the awesome pool bartender along with all of the other bar tenders were amazing. Also, Minnie at, The Deck and Caroline, our cabana waitress were amazing. We also loved that the young lady that cleaned our room was so meticulous. We made our bed each morning, but we noticed she came in and remade it the correct way. The concierge team and the gentleman at the front door were all extremely professional. My husband and I agreed that Belize has been one of the BEST vacations we've ever had and it had a lot to do with the employees at Alaia. Thanks again for being so amazing. "
