"I loved the property and the staff. Great room. Well maintained historic property. I would have given it a 5 * rating but for the neighbourhood . The neighbourhood is questionable. I would not feel comfortable walking there at night. During the day is fine- just a lot of homeless folks and guys asking for money."

"Overall our experience was positive. We experienced one issue in the washroom that was fixed at a very short notice. We requested for a vacuum cleaner and got it promptly. Further, there was no guarantee of a parking spot when we booked. However, we were assigned a reserved spot when we arrived. We only saw the staff when we requested help and they were friendly and very helpful. The location is excellent, just a 3-4 minute drive from the University of Waterloo. A couple of suggestions for the management- an iron and an ironing board would be helpful. We would certainly consider staying there again if we need to visit the Waterloo area."

"The apartment is just across LH (Business School) of the Wilfrid Laurier University, so the location was very convenient, There is a balcony, secure entrance, full kitchen with all the amenities, washer and drier. The manager was very responsive to all the requests."

"Nice, well-equipped basement unit with everything you need for a stay of a couple of weeks. I stayed there with my young daughter. Sara was very responsive, helpful, and accommodating. She did her best to meet my health needs and make our stay as comfortable as possible. The landlord is also a very kind and pleasant person. I would definitely recommend this place."

"In general, the unit is clean, bright and provide what we expected. The stay experiences are very good. Something can be improved. 1. The photos to show the bedrooms can show the actual conditions. When we booked the unit, the photos showed the bedrooms had mattress only. No pillow or bed sheet. No photos to show toilet paper, cookware or tableware. We brought everything to the unit and it wastes spaces in our car. If the photos can show more, we can have a better plan. 2. There's no power outlet around the dinning table in the unit. We use computer on the table. When the computer power was low, we had to go back to the room to charge computer. 3. One chair was noisy. 4. The door hinges were noisy. 5. The unit mail box was full when we arrived. 6. The washroom door to dining room was a bit difficult to open because the lock tongue stuck out."
