Modern Nordic Retreat w. Stunning Lake Views

Welcome to the Lake House on Lake Superior, a newly built Nordic-inspired lake house on the shores of Lake Superior. The lake house is designed for couples, families and friends who want to step away from everyday life to escape, slow down, and recharge.

Wake up to snowy lake views, sip coffee by the stone fireplace, snowshoe at nearby award-winning lodges, unwind by the fire under northern skies.

35 minutes from Sault Ste. Marie
15 minutes from Stokley Creek Lodge

The space

Indoor Living

The property is designed with Scandinavian inspiration which offers a clean, modern interior that accommodates up to six adults. The space features natural materials, simple lines, and stunning lake views throughout.

The main living area includes floor-to-ceiling windows, a stone fireplace, and a fully equipped chef’s kitchen with a professional gas range. A dedicated dining area provides space for meals and gatherings. Games and books are available for downtime.

The primary suite includes a king bed, ensuite bathroom, and lake views. Two guest bedrooms each include a queen bed, with a full bathroom located between them. There is also a laundry room onsite with an LG WashCombo.


Outdoor Living

Located directly on Lake Superior, the property allows for lake access and seasonal outdoor activities. Amenities include a wood-fired hot tub (seasonal), firepit, Barebones open-fire grill (seasonal), kayaks, stand-up paddleboard, and rowboat (seasonal). An outdoor courtyard with lounge seating provides additional space to relax.

*Privacy hedges will be planted in Spring 2027. Until then, the neighbours are visible on both sides. We’ve priced the home accordingly.*

*Water equipment and wood-fired hot tub is available seasonally (weather-dependent, typically available May–October; rowboat available until September).*

*ONLY guests listed on the reservation are allowed on the property at any time. Additional daytime or overnight visitors are not permitted. This policy is just for insurance and liability purposes. Any violations may result in immediate cancellation of your reservation and a $500 fee. Please note that exterior cameras are in place to monitor authorized activity.*

Perfect Weekend Away

My husband and I enjoyed the place for our anniversary weekend. We couldn't get over the gorgeous view and the house really put it on display with the big windows and natural light. The space is thoughtfully designed and we were well relaxed by the time we left (though we didn't want to leave). The nordic hot tub was perfect for the cooler windy nights. The kitchen was gorgeous and we enjoyed cooking all our meals at the place instead of leaving to go out.The kayaks were great for paddling around on the river, and then getting over to the beach. All the neighbors are very kind and helpful as well. We would love to come back here ! Thanks Jessica for being such a great host.

The home was absolutely welcoming and beautiful. What an amazing kitchen! We felt spoiled with all of the added extras- the espresso machine, the Nordic hot tub to try, to the beautiful views and sunsets. Communication was excellent and the location was perfect for hiking and exploring. We would definitely stay there again!
