Parking and laundry were a bonus for us. There is a terrific local restaurant within walking distance. We recommend Gastehous Mack to anyone travelling to this area......Oh and the the town of Ettal is worth a short drive for wonderful beer and liquor thanks to the Monastery."

"Pros: We had a wonderful time in Oberammergau, enjoying walking locally in the December snow. Tried out local cafes for all the fabulous cakes and hot chocolate. Lidl is in walking distance for all the supplies you might need if you want to cook. The kitchen is very well stocked with all the utensils you might need. Beds are comfy and the hot water plentiful and hot. WiFi good. The host was delightful. Met us on arrival and showed us around. Very helpful and welcoming. Highly recommend this...
