"This is a very well maintained and rustic cabin / small house in a quiet neighborhood just a mile or two from the bridge in Houghton. We could walk to the

trails and had easy access to US-41 and downtown. The cabin was clean and very well cared for, had window A/C in the upstairs room, and had plenty of room for two. The neighborhood is full of trees and was quiet without being isolated. We would certainly stay again if we come back to Houghton."

"I was not happy to find that there is no staff on site when you check in. you have to use a kiosk to check in. I do not feel comfortable with knowing that the kiosk now has my credit card information and my drivers license information and the lady on the kiosk was from the Philippians. you need to have local staff available. the breakfast is very limited. The rooms were sufficient with all the basic needs covered. as we were aware of at time of booking. very quiet area, no issues...

"Room was clean. The hotel had a small beach for viewing sunset on Lake Superior. We ate at the restaurant and enjoyed the hot tub after a day of hiking. "

"Motel consists of two motels currently merging so is actually quite large. Convenient to major roads (although also can be noisy because of this). Decent continental breakfast of toast, cereal, coffee. Room was spacious, bed was comfortable. Staff was friendly and helpful. Pool and jacuzzi was a nice feature. Would stay there again."
