"What a gorgeous apartment! Filled with art works and books, and everything practical to make our stay just as we had hoped. We were very comfortable at Jutta’s and Dietmar’s place, and really enjoyed our stay. Set high the apartment’s views of the Rhine River were very picturesque, both during the day through to sunset and night. The apartment is a short 15 minute drive to the city centre of Koblenz, and only about 3-4 minutes to the rural outskirts. It’s a very quiet and peaceful stay which...

"After an awkward initial conversation with my host caused by poor communication through hotels.com, and me arriving at a slightly inconvenient time, everything worked out fine. The apartment is a little dated but has everything you need. There is no parking on site but on street parking is available nearby (up the hill!) and very well connected by frequent buses into the centre of the beautiful old town. I only stayed one night but it was ideal for that brief visit. If you like Riesling and...

Mercure Hotel Koblenz

8/10 Good

"Room was as described and hotel location good, easy to get around"

Hotel Morjan

10/10 Excellent

"I wish I'd been able to stay longer at the Hotel Morjan: it was such a great choice. I paid a little extra for a 'river view' room, and I was delighted I did. Sitting, watching the river, especially as the light faded and the fortress lit up in the evening was so lovely. Even in the mornings when there was misty fog the view was stunning. The location was perfect for my needs, with the things I wanted to see in easy walking distance from the hotel. Having a row of restaurants right beside the hotel made dinner choices easy. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the room was comfortable and well maintained. I'd happily recommend staying there to my family and friends. It was a lovely place to stay."

Hotel Zugbruecke Grenzau

10/10 Excellent

"We very much enjoyed our stay. Wonderful property located in a lovely small village just outside Koblenz. Spa and gym were very nice. Only wish the sauna opened at 7am along with the pool. The hotel restaurant is very nice but if you prefer a more traditional German dining experience consider walking into the village and visiting the restaurant there."
