"While winter, the off season for the area, the stay accommodations were great as well as the host interaction. Probably not many Americans visit but our hosts were English speaking which helped us. They provided area tips besides walk through of the unit. Pros: Heated floors, fantastic coffee machine, bathroom was top-end. Cons were minor- tight surrounding location."

"We had high hopes for this home and we were very disappointed when we walked in. Home smelled like smoke badly and i have a child that has a hard time breathing around smoke smells. Pictures shown on vrbo are very different than what the home looks like in real life. Way beliw the level of pictures and just dingy dirty feel. "Room was a good size but rather hot. Apparently, a/c system was in winter mode. Opening windows was rather noisy from street/people activity. Excellent breakfast. Even though coffee machine in room did not always work properly, a staff member came to look at it immediately. Very nice staff. No restaurant, other than for breakfast. There was a bar, but it was not open on Sunday. Very good location for visiting St Gallen by foot and very close to station."
