"The property is in downtown Quincy. Decorated for Fall and welcoming. The young lady who checked us in was very sweet so I would like to give her a five star rating. The room was great. However the bed sank in the middle but was not intolerable. We had a good nights rest. The breakfast was hot and fresh. Lots of choices. Here are my reasons for not giving the other staff a five star rating. At 8:30 AM a very loud knock came to our door. Scared me to death! It was housekeeping checking to see if we had left. Checkout was 11 and we had not yet been to breakfast!!! We went down for breakfast and there were two employees in the dining area talking things over. Neither one bothered to speak in any way. I felt like I was infringing on their space. We gathered our things after breakfast to check out. I mentioned to the man behind the counter that I was disturbed that housekeeping was knocking on our door at 8:30 AM. He proceeded to tell me that many people leave without checking out and if they waited for everyone it might be 8 at night before they discovered they had checked out. Was he saying no one would check if someone had not left by checkout time? He said they were fully booked for the next several days. HOWEVER,… there were very few people there the night we stayed. Maybe 15 cars in the parking lot. We were told it was fairly empty on the night we stayed. I really did not appreciate Matt’s response or attitude. Other than the employees … it was GREAT!"

"Nice home but traffic is VERY loud and woke us up early each morning. There are no curtains on the very large window in the kitchen so it’s very bright and no privacy. There was only enough coffee for one morning. The bath gel and shampoo is only one very small tube of each. We had to buy these and the coffee. No big deal but we would have brought some if we would have known. We really liked that luggage racks were provided in the bedrooms."

"Rental is as advertised. Would recommend a couple very minor changes...beds could use to be updated and since there is no "hotel style" soaps or shampoo you may want to bring your own. Had bath towels but no wash cloths (just assumed housekeeping missed it), we didn't worry about requesting them since we were only there one night. Would not hesitate to stay here again. Unit was very clean and easy to find and access. We utilized the front porch and back deck which was nice."
