"Un lugar espectacular para vacacionar. Tranquilo, muy bien equipado, hermosa vista. Sólo que se debe mejorar las indicaciones para llegar, la indicación no es tan precisa las aplicaciones pueden llevarte por un camino más corto pero intransitable para vehículos sencillos."

"This is the second time I've visited La Cusinga and made great effort to get here again. It is a special place, not for the faint of heart. I spent a week alone at Cusinga, nestled in the rain forest. I had a magical week. La Cusinga is a special place but may not be for everyone, especially those looking for a luxury hotel. We are guests in nature!"

"We had a wonderful stay here and would absolutely return. The casita is small, but beautifully maintained, very clean, and exactly what the two of us needed for a relaxing getaway. The location is fantastic — central to everything in Uvita and perfect for exploring beaches, restaurants, and local attractions. The Tex‑Mex restaurant next door was a delightful bonus and made grabbing dinner incredibly convenient.One of our favorite parts of the stay was enjoying coffee on the patio each morning while listening to the birds and watching the wildlife. It was peaceful, quiet, and such a lovely way to start the day.A few notes for future guests and the host:• The nearby beach is part of the national park, which means there’s an entrance fee. Some reviews made it sound a bit closer and more walkable than we personally found it to be.• The host did recommend several beautiful free beaches within a 10–15 minute drive, and they were perfect for catching sunsets.• Adding a lounge chair or two to the back patio would make the outdoor space even better — there wasn’t a comfortable spot to sit and read outside.Overall, this was a wonderful stay: clean, quiet, convenient, and a perfect base for exploring Uvita. Highly recommend."

"What a great stay we had at this beautiful, relaxing place! The owners had clearly put a lot of care into providing for guests needs. Well equipped kitchen. Range of seating on the balcony overlooking the fantastic pool and garden."

"Might need a 4x4 to get to this gorgeous view! We did make it in our car but the water crossing got a little hairy after rain. The place was just as beautiful and well laid out as described. Immaculately cleaned and they were so nice as to let us in early on check in day. The water pressure was a problem for showers - definitely can’t take more than 1 shower at once. Also, I’m not sure the dishwasher was hooked up. But the washing machine worked great and they even provided soap. Black out blinds were also much appreciated"
