"This appart-hotel is about a ten minute walk to the centre of Angouleme and the comic strip museum is nearby. The rooms are clean with a kitchenette and a shower room. Breakfast is reasonable for under 10 euros. The staff are helpful and pleasant. Altogether a good stay. "

"We weren’t disappointed by this property at all. We stayed for 3 nights while attending a wedding . I will say that this place while soundproofed, is not quiet, you can hear people in other rooms. The beds could be a bit more comfortable too. Other than that, our room was clean, the staff were friendly and spoke English. The location is beautiful, we loved Jonzac and would return. "

The terrace and pool area were perfect for long, lazy lunches in the sunshine. We had a slight issue with the freezer that was dealt very promptly by the helpful and friendly owners. "The peoperty has potential to be amazing but needs some investment to bring it up to standard. It wasn't very clean, there was a very odd smell in the gite, and there were some weird 'quirks' like random items in the wardrobe, lots of non-essential things not working (like the playstation), and it just felt a bit unloved which give it a weird vibe. It's a shame as it's a massive property with really nice big rooms and lots of space for everyone."
