The hotel is in a great location with only eight rooms ,I believe.It has no immediate access for vehicles or parking so you will have to wheel your luggage to the entrance which is a short distance from the main road. Beside this minor inconvenience the staff is wonderful and will help with everything including your luggage from vehicle to room and back ! Special mention for Isabel at the front desk whom is very knowledgeable and a great person to talk to about everything ' Porto '.

This is an exceptionally wonderful hotel! The service was both warm,
helpful and efficient. I can’t find any more words to describe what an amazing stay we spent at GA Palace.
We r frequent travelers and have travelled all over the world - nothing compared to this privately owned hotel!

Central location - within 10-15 mins you are by the river, and just a few minutes away from the famed Lello library and Sao Bento station . It is steps away from the Aliados metro - which is great if you are taking transit to/from the airport. The room was clean and quiet which I appreciate. I like that it is located away from the hustle and bustle of the main tourist area. Would happily stay here again.
