"First thing to say is you'll probably need a car as it's about a 40 minute walk to Castelbuono - and coming back is quite steep walking. The upside of that is you are in a very tranquil location. Hardly a sound apart from birdsong and the occasional gentle charming clang of a cowbell as (presumably) some nearby cows were being led out to pasture I booked this place because its advert focused on tranquility - and it really lived up to that. "Pros: From the moment we arrived down an unmarked road, through the electric gates and up the dirt track driveway surrounded by oak trees, we knew this place was special. The one bedroom house was large enough for the two of us and our daughter who slept on the sofa bed, and full of rustic charm. "Fabulous 3 villas set in gorgeous gardens. Ideal for large family group of 15. Lovely owner who popped in every morning, but never intrusive. Treated us to pizza on first day and delicious croissants during the week. He didn’t speak English and we didn’t speak Italian, but we managed with languages app and sign language! Amazing pool area ideal for relaxing holiday. Highly recommend this booking."

"Die Lage der Unterkunft ist grundsätzlich gut. Wer Low Budget reist, findet hier eine Option. Allerdings traten während des Buchungsprozesses unerwartete Kosten auf (16/Person für Handtücher, 3/Person/Tag für Strom). Zudem war der Pool entgegen der Erwartung erst ab Juli geöffnet. Der Pool war der Grund für unsere Buchung. Absolute Enttäuschung! Das hakelige Einfahrtstor sorgte für zusätzliche Wartezeiten und beim Gasherd funktionierte eine Flamme nicht. "Beautiful setting, quiet and luxurious. Food was amazing. We had the Chef’s special menu for 50 Euro as it was so good. We had to leave early in the morning due to a train strike but they provided breakfast before we left which was nice of them. We were travelling by train and it was quite expensive for a taxi from Cefalu but worth the trip. Great view from pool. Would recommend and would be nice for a special occasion."

"The property and its views were amazing. Transportation getting to the resort from the airport was expensive. Expedia organized our flight from Toronto to Sicily requiring a ferry to cross then organize a shuttle at the harbour to the resort. This would have added hours and substantial cost to get to the resort. We reorganized so we flew from Toronto to Rome then Rome to Palermo reserving a shuttle at our expense to get to the resort."

"Had a terrific holiday at this villa and would highly recommend. We were a party of 11 ages ranging from 12 to 81.We used all 6 bedrooms and there was plenty of room for all of us.Great outside spaces for eating and a fantastic pool and lovely surround for sunbathing.Benedetto was a perfect host, always on hand if needed. We managed without a car , three restaurants and the beach an easy walk away, also a well stocked supermarket.The railway station around 15 mins walk was well used for trips to Cefalu, a lovely seaside town with lots of shops and eateries .Only 8 minutes on the train so easy to pop in for a few hours. The younger ones in our party made full use of the bikes for trips to the beach and shopping. One of the highlights of our stay was having Marco come to us and cook a truly sumptuous 3 course meal, a wonderful experience! We have had a few family holidays and the overall feeling was this was the best one ever! Thankyou Benedetto, we were sad to leave."
