"Pros: From the moment we arrived down an unmarked road, through the electric gates and up the dirt track driveway surrounded by oak trees, we knew this place was special. The one bedroom house was large enough for the two of us and our daughter who slept on the sofa bed, and full of rustic charm. It was nice to experience a somewhat cooler climate than down the sea. On the downside, it took us half an hour to drive up and down the hill to get fresh bread in the morning. "Great stay with Francesco, Nino (his father) and Concetta (who made breakfast and cleaned the rooms)! The property is in a beautiful setting and Francesco takes pride in keeping the grounds beautiful. Nice plantings, a beautiful lawn, and well maintained. Everyone was very helpful and willing to give tips and suggestions for visiting the area. Breakfast was nice and served on the covered terrace with fantastic views. The only negatives were the short dirt road that you had to travel to get to the property (not really a big deal), and the shower was the typical small corner style common in Europe (a bit tight for comfort). Overall would highly recommend a stay here! "

"Absolutely stunning little gem in the surroundings of Cefalu. Debora and the staff were really welcoming. We had a pleasant stay in a charming house of a typical Sicilian village. It’s also great to come back to a cool and fresh place after enduring scorching heat."
