"Great location for the centre of Nîmes. The hotel itself was fine for a couple of nights stay, very small and basic and the air conditioning was not working whilst we were staying which we were notified about before arriving but there wasn't enough notice to find somewhere else convenient and it was close to 40 so I would not recommend staying until they have this fixed."
"Staying here was a positive experience.:
It is located less than 100 metres from the Maison Carrée in a beautiful well-maintained pedestrianised square with a couple of lively restaurants
There are more tha enough staff who are friendly and helpful.
Room was comfortable and well-maintained.
I would definitely stay here again. However before booking be aware that:
Rooms are on first and second floors and there is no lift
There was no refigerator in our room, though reception was handing out...
"Staff very friendly and accommodating; always eager to please. Room kept clean everyday. Clean and updated hotel and rooms. Comfortable beds. View onto a small street.
Close to a discount grocery. In the heart of the old city.
AC not very powerful. No free overnight parking.

"We have stayed in enough Best Western hotels in Europe now that we have joined their rewards program. Rather than being cookie cutter hotels, we have found many fascinating, unique historic properties.
This was the actual mansion where my ancestors met with, and likely spent nights with le Marquis de Baume!
Our room was spacious, and the front desk was quickly responsive when we thought a light fixture was broken. They cheerfully offered to move us, but we decided to stay to enjoy the nice...
"Hotel is within walking distance to beautiful historic center of town. I little bit noisy.
Room was impeccable, but bathroom is extremely small, shower has no shelf to put shampoo and soap and you can hardly bend to reach them! beds a bit too soft, lady at front desk was on her phone when we were checking in and would not pause her conversation to greet us. Breakfast is another $10 euros extra per person if you want to eat. No restaurants nearby."
"Wonderfully located. Beautifully decorated and gracious host/owner. Wonderful to have secure parking even for a €€ rate. Request a lower floor if you have any concerns about stairs without railings. All rooms are lovely and the common areas are in the floor above the garage/ street level. The breakfast is very good -no eggs, but fine cheese, breads, yoghurt, fruit. Also be aware that there is a cat in the house if you have allergies. S/he doesn’t go into the bedrooms but does live in the common...
