"The Away Place was amazing. It was exactly as described. It was beautiful with all the amenities. We chose to stay in at the cabin and enjoy the back deck and hot tub. But if weather had been better, the lake would have been great for kayaking and fishing. There are kayaks on the property. There are plenty of outdoor activities close nearby as well as restaurants. "This place is really a perfect spot to visit cloudland canyon and be up in the mountains. It's got a cute little lake behind it that has fish in it, and a little country restaurant right next door which is very handy. Perry is really good at decorating the place. We enjoyed looking at all the art. It seems like every time I come I bring the extreme cold temperature so I'm sorry about that. Lol."

"From the moment we opened the door we were pleasantly surprised! Such a cool place and the house was immaculate. We all commented on it, everything was very comfortable. Owner communicated with me very quickly when I had a question. One thing we would have changed was having chairs on the patio, but I think it was the first nice weekend of the spring.
