First of all the view from the property is scenic. The property is beautiful and clean with a nice size pool. The location is a little bit far from the center of the city but close to porto Manfredi for ferry connections.

We made this hotel our home base while exploring the amalfi coast. It is right across the Salerno train station which made it very convenient. The location of the hotel is also excellent -- 5 min walk to the ferries. 30 second walk to the downtown stretch of restaurants.
Hotel is outdated but that's the charm. The elevator is small so you might need to take multiple trips with luggage. Room was good, no issues. Breakfast in the morning was really great and worth the time to enjoy before spending the day on the coast.
Staff was very helpful with directions, recommendations, and checking in/out.

The hotel is old and needs some updating. There is very little counter or shelf space in the bathroom. The carpet in the hallways needs to be replaced. For what we paid, we expected the place to at least be average. The breakfast buffet was dismal, each morning a tray of chopped hotdogs on one side and runny scrambled eggs on the other. I ended up eating toast or one of the cake slices. Their buffet gets a 1 out of 5.
