"Overall happy. It's difficult to rate a Motel 6. Most people understand what they are getting. So if it meets your expectations then you should give it a good rating. But it's also difficult to give a good rating for a hotel at this level. So assuming you know what to expect I would give this property a good rating. Room was pretty clean overall. There was quite a bit of hair left behind in the bathroom and something dirty looking on the outlet by the sink. Other than that it looked clean. Didn't smell and everything was in fairly new and good condition. There were some cigarette burns in the bedding because they do have smoking rooms. Keeping this bedding separate would be a good move by the property. The bed was very firm and not super comfortable. It's what I expected. Typically these hotels aren't in the best areas. But actually it's right near the waterfront area so there are lots of nice shops and places to eat or get coffee. Saturday market was happening when we were there. It's a nice one. I think this did affect the cost which I felt was a little higher than expected. Staff was friendly. It's near the airport so you do get planes flying over. We stayed there for a concert happening at the amphitheater in ridgefield. It was all we needed. A place to shower and sleep for the night. If that's what you need I would recommend this hotel. I wasn't upset with this stay"

"I found it difficult to locate, pinched streets lots of cars parked on the street going to this Hotel. After finding the Hotel, I was pleasantly surprised at the Hotel. If there is a downside it would be the walls allow noise from adjacent rooms. So, if you abide by the rules and observe the quiet times it can be a GREAT experience. The breakfast bar is world class as hot breakfasts go, best I’ve seen in years. There was some construction going on the time we were there limiting parking so, I don’t recommend trailers or large vehicles maneuvering in the tight assigned parking. We were there when the I/5 was shut down we live north going south on I-5 so our commute wasn’t bad, but coming there from south of Portland may be challenging during this freeway shutdown so check that if you’re coming from South of Portland going north on I-5. I was there with family, I’d recommend this for families only, not what I would look for for business. Pet friendly, I saw a few animals not sure where you’d walk then but they were in the hotel. Overall I enjoyed my stay."

"Very nice bungalow style house. Cozy and very quiet. Nice outside area for relaxing and they provided water and snacks and lots of detailed notes for how to manage things. Close to the waterfront and shops/bars/dining and only 15 minutes from Portland. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay."

"We arrived late in the evening around 10pm and after a long day on the road, we hoped for a smooth entry and the host delivered. Instructions to enter the unit and access WiFi were clear and straightforward. Thermostat was at a nice 75F to help with the chill outside.Unfortunately the dishwasher did not work which the host did inform us ahead of time. It seem the did in earnest try to have it repaired in time so I appreciate the attempt and the communication. Everything else lights, appliances, furniture, plumbing were in good order. While we didn't use it much, the kitchen was well stocked with tools including glass lunch containers! Wonderful touch in this tight economy. Thanks to our hosts for making use feel like welcome guests."
