Wonderful get away

Our stay was amazing, great place, beautiful bathroom and a great view. It was clean, well stocked and we enjoyed it very much. We will rebook in the future. A wonderful location to stay if you don't want Vancouver proper. Easy to get around and located to nearly all of our adventures! Len and family was great hosts! Thank you for everything!-

Great Studio in North Vancouver

I stayed here for a month while working in Vancouver. Leonard was a great host, the property was clean and had all of the amenities I needed for my stay. The area is very quiet and safe, with grocery stores and other amenities within walking distance. Highly reccomend this stay!

Added retreat

This property offered a clean quiet sleeping rest time after long days of adventures. Our host greeted us and made our stay pleasant. This property provides all you need while you were away from home. I HIGHLY recommend a stay to anyone who needs a place to rest their heads.

Cute little place with amazing views of the mountains

My best friend and I stayed here for a few days and it was the nicest place we stayed in in Vancouver. It had a kitchen, a very clean bathroom and Len was always helpful if we ever needed anything! The view when you walk out is really nice, you can see a peak of the mountains. Overall, this place was very nice and very easy to drive around as well!

For short stay perfect place

Leonard was a great host, very helpful. The unit has everything's you need for 2 people. The couch bed was fine but couldn't figure how to turn it back into a couch. Parking is little tight but usable. Very quiet neighborhood. Would stay there again.

City lights

All in all was a good place to stay, the bed got uncomfortable after a week or so. Not bad for a shorter stay. No curtains was an issue I work nights.. poor insulation. No towel rack or hook or bath mat.. shower light and fan are one switch so kind of cold after working in the cold all night would be nice to have a hot shower in a warm room... For the area it's a good price. Also parking wasn't great for bigger vehicles.

Great host, property not quite as advertised

This property is located close to the bus routes, making it easy to navigate the city. The host, Len, made the check in seamless and promptly tried to respond to concerns. It is indeed a studio unit, with sufficient towels, bedding and other necessities. I had hoped the sofa-bed would be adaptable to a sofa, as depicted in the ads, but that was not the case. In that way, it is like a hotel room, I suppose. The unit is advertised as "city lights". They are visible from the yard; however, the only window in the unit is entirely frosted over and so, unfortunately, one can see neither daylight nor city lights from inside the unit. Additionally, being autumn, and with the unit close to a park, the sounds of small animals trying to find warmth interrupted sleep. When I left, Len was diligently working addressing this. I cut my stay short by a few days.

Decent accommodation for location and cost

The place was quite close driving to downtown Vancouver and to the places we wanted to go. Quiet and peaceful. Cleanliness overall was satisfactory - there were some cobwebs around but not bothersome. Found that the unit was missing some basic things such as a towel rack, hand towel holder, shower caddy, and curtains for window. We did not end up using oven or stove but appreciated that it was available. The check-in process was the only thing we were unimpressed with: we were not aware that the property had two rental units. When we arrived, we arrived at the same time as the other tenants - awkwardly staring at each other as they too were probably wondering why we were at their rental property. We put in the door code unknowingly to their unit and then was told that we were in the other unit. My only suggestion for the landlord is to clarify to future tenants about which unit they are staying in.

An Easy 5 Stars!

Anyone who doesn't rate this place a solid 5 stars is either just having a bad day, or has lost their senses. For any solo guest or couple, this spot is a goldmine. I almost feel bad rating it so high for fear of it getting too booked up! The check in process is super easy, just a quick VRBO message takes care of it. The location is super secluded, quiet, safe, has a great view of the harbor, and right next to a pretty, local park! You are within 15 minute walking distance to a great little convince store and the BLVD Bistro (A+ there too) :) Ubers are always in abundance, and you are a mere 20 minutes from the Shipyards, downtown, and the Capilano Park. The unit itself is bigger and nicer than my apartment here in LA! You could literally live here. Two-person sized bed, tv, wifi, stainless steel fridge, stove/range, sink, toaster, desk, EVERYTHING! The bathroom was very clean and updated and the water pressure was even and got hot easily! I have absolutely nothing negative to report about my stay here. I never met the proprietor, but always had access to them and there were people in the main building, so I felt connected still. This was a perfect visit for me, PERFECT. I am a single dude, just in town to check out the Suspension Bridge, do some hiking, see the Harbor, get a tattoo, and have some brews over the (American) Labor Day Weekend! Thanks to VRBO and this spot, my first encounter of Canadian hospitality was second to none!

City lights weekend

City lights is a perfect spot for 1-2 ppl. The kichen is well stocked with dinner wear and things for cooking. Its a fairly quiet area with a really nice view and groceries/supplies just a 10 min walk down the mountain. The upstairs neighbor was very lovely.

Great bang for your buck

It was a small room which wasn’t really an issue but, the bed was only a pull out couch so it was pretty uncomfortable. There wasn’t any AC besides a fan so it was pretty warm, the lock was a little messed up and it was hard to lock the door. The neighborhood is very nice and safe. and there’s a yummy bagel shop couple streets down. The hosts were nice and easy to get a hold of!

Excellent home base for exploring North Vancouver

Len is a great host with a well-placed property in North Vancouver. The property is small but clean. Major bus lines and stores are a short walk away. Kitchen and bathroom are both stocked with the essentials. We had a great time!
