  • In a nice neighborhood, very comfortable bright master bedroom on the top floor in this house, have your own bathroom, when there's a third guest or fourth guest then we can set up a XL twin beds.There is also a closet. Share Kitchen, living room, dining room backyard and laundry area is a shared area, Portable air conditioning. Laundry area in basement. We will provide Cooking utensils and cutlery. We could set another single bed for fouth guest as picture shows

Quiet and peaceful. Spacious. Picture window with blinds. Skylight in bathroom. Excellent shower pressure. Has a deep soaker tub. Shoes off at stay entrance - sign of cleanliness, respect and home-like feeling - slippers on.

The VRBO provided a great base for our schedule with ease of access to amenities and great for getting to and from the variety of appointments that we had around the city. Quiet, clean and restful.

Great location but many different rooms being rented individually

Great location and very clean. Listing did specify that accommodations were shared but didn't make clear just how many different rooms were being rented. (At least 8 by our count). That said if you're not bothered by a lot of different people coming and going it's a nice place to stay. Cleaning lady was there daily and was helpful when we had questions and needed an iron.

Odd mix

Odd mix of nice finishes, such as shown in listing photos, with other areas in need of repair. Large room with large bed and separate bathroom with new appearing tub, separate shower. Unfortunately could not enjoy tub due to a strong mildew odor from shower. Room did include an electric kettle and keurig coffeemaker which were nice and I do not believe were mentioned in listing. Overall fine as a place to stay if you will be out and about during the day.

The host was great with communication in advance and during my stay. He accommodated me leaving my luggage at the house while I went out for the day before my late night flight. (Thanks again, Alex!)The room is spacious, the bathroom is nice (don't skip that tub!), the mattress/sheets/pillow were very comfortable. The location is great! Quick ride on buses or the train to anything you'd want to get to, and the neighborhood itself is a bustling community with markets, cafes, restaurants, and cute shops (I loved the Japanese stationary place). It feels like a very safe neighborhood with established homes and a school across the street. I've stayed in a other places like this (NYC and London) and it's no secret in the host's description, but you should know that it's a room in a home and I believe that all of the other rooms are rented by long term tenants. You aren't with fellow vacationers or really in a family's home. I met one tenant in the kitchen and he was happy living there so I'm happy to help contribute to their living situation being sustainable. It's an expensive town! The common rooms are a little cluttered, so is the yard, but it's also filled with family photos and happy house plants. I enjoyed my stay and would definitely stay again!

Large room and clean. Spare futon bed was really comfy with a foam topper. Queen bed was a bit soft but nice sheets and an extra blanket if needed. Towels were large and fluffy. Neighborhood is residential & seemed safe and quiet. Easy check in and lots of street parking. Great value and will stay again!
