During my stay, it seems like the hotel did NOT have my reservation registered from Expedia. The staff worked incredibly hard to make sure I had a room. They upgraded me to a room with a jacuzzi (but of an overrated room tbh but I'm thankful regardless).
I was supposed to receive a perk of a free glass of wine but honestly, I didn't want to ask any more of the staff since they worked so hard to give me my room.
This problem might be moreso the communication between Expedia and The Parker Hotel Vancouver. This would have been a LOT worse if the hotel did not have any space. And I wasn't the only one of the day. There were apparently multiple cases just like mine. This should be addressed.
The overall quality of the place is alright. Feels like an average 3 star hotel. Hotel staff is definitely top notch. The actually room is rather low quality. Cracks in the corners of the room. Little scratches and bumps here and there. Like, you definitely won't have a bad time here, but it isn't the Five Star place you would think it is advertised as.
Staff: 11/10
Hotel Rooms: 6/10
Elevators: 6/10
Overall: 7/10 mainly because of the staff.
