Tranquility by YVR Airport 空港静舍

My house is less than 15-minute drive away from Vancouver International Airport. It's located on a no-through side street in a safe neighborhood of Richmond. The guest bedroom is only 100 square feet in size with a queen-size bed and an updated private full bathroom. The suite is separated from the main house by a French door. It also has its own entry. Bridgeport sky-train station is less than 10-minute drive away. Bus routes to sky-train station are within walking distance. Other than the host, I am also a working mom with a part-time job. I like smiling, travelling, cooking, meditation and exercising. My interests include music and personal health. As a B&B host, I am privileged of being able to make friends from all over the world. I speak English and Mandarin. The suite is licensed through municipal government. No matter how busy I am, guest experience is always my number one priority.By the way, if you are a senior perfectionist, pls let go of my simple but cost-effective BnB. Thanks!

It was very nice and clean with a lovely fragrance. There were two softer pillows and two harder pillows on the bed for different preferences. Very quiet, safe, friendly neighborhood. I would stay there again.

A lovely place close to the airport

Very comfortable and clean place to stay! The host was great, she communicated everything I needed before hand and checked in with us after the first night to see if there was anything we needed. It was less than ten minutes to the airport.

Clean and cozy

Spent the night in Vancouver and I’m really glad I chose this stay since it’s so close to everything and very clean. I slept well and the bed was very comfortable and cozy. I will definitely be booking again in the future and would recommend to others

It was a lovely place to stay. Very quiet area. Not far from the bus stop to that takes you directly to the sky train. The place is very close to the airport so it is convenient if one is doing travels by air.

Excellent room

My wife and I stayed here one night before getting on a cruise. We arrived very late at night but the place aaa easy to find and check in instructions were very clear! The room is separate from the rest of the house and is very private, would recommend highly for anyone wanting to stay!

Nice and cozy room

Had a 5 nights stay. Room was cozy and comfy. Bathroom was also squeaky clean and the shampoo was great. The host offered plenty of clean towels and quick response from the host for any problems.

My husband and I stayed here for two nights. It’s located in a very nice neighborhood and the room/bathroom was clean upon arrival. Spring was easy to contact and my husband and I would definitely come back if we needed to.

Perfect property for overnight stay for Alaskian Cruise

ChunHong was an awesome host. The hospitality and willingness to provide assistance in locating local restaurants and grocery stores was much appreciated. The neighborhood is safe at night and during the daytime. We did a couple of walks during our stay. The facility was very clean amd comfortable. Especially the bed. I would recommend this place to anyone needing an overbite stay in Vancouver.

Excellent place, lovely and friendly host

My husband and i stayed at spring's home for 3 nights during our vacation in Richmond. Spring was a wonderful host. She waited up for us to check in despite our late arrival. The hospitality and willingness to provide assistance in locating local restaurants, grocery stores as well as fun places to visit in Richmond like fisherman's wharf (dont forget to try the grilled fish, chips and gelato ice cream when visiting as recommended by spring. We tried it and was awesome. . The room was cozy and comfortable. The bathroom was also sparkling clean. She was always quick to respond to us and ready to help in anyway.Spring was a friendly and respectful host. The location of her house is great with good and safe neighborhood.I would highly recommend her to anyone seeking a comfortable and clean place for short and long stay.

Great Hostess with convenient room with private bath in Richmond

May wife and I stayed at Spring's home in Richmond between the airport and cruise dock. Her home is convenient to reach from the airport by taxi (CA $22). Spring provided transportation on our schedule to the Cruise Terminal in her private (luxury) vehicle for the same rate as offered by taxi/rideshare. The room is accessed through the garage service door and is private and comfortable. There are a number of restaurants within 1.5Km walk, or can be reached by taxi. the neighborhood is perfectly safe for walking (we walked to and from restaurants 1.5km away in evening hours with no concern for safety). Spring is personable and helpful, quickly available to assist guests in her home or enroute. Her checkin process was simple and we did not need any assistance from Spring upon arrival to check into the room.

A bit short on expectations

Very clean, and a fabulous bed. Space was very tiny and very cramped. She lists bedroom size as 10x10....this is not a typo. Having to enter through the garage is disappointing. The picture of host in front of a lovely water view has nothing to do with the property. I had to ask repeatedly for information because the answers were vague or incomplete. However, we did get a good nights sleep and that's a critical quality.

Our First Vrbo Experience

We went with Spring because her prices are much better than staying at a hotel and she had good reviews. The place was clean and she has a good security system so we felt safe. She was respectful of our privacy and checked in on us over the Vrbo app a couple of times to ask if our stay was going well. The neighborhood was quiet and we had no issues walking around at night. If you are planning on travelling around a lot and do not have a car, then I highly suggest you be prepared to utilize a combination of the public transit system and a ride-share app. We went all over the area and found that the public transit day pass was the best deal. There is also a public transit phone number you can call and they will help you find routes and explain the system to you. This took us two days to figure out, but we were all over the place after we knew what to do. If we travel back to the area, Spring will be our first choice for lodging.

It depends

The host is very nice, accommodating, and attentive. My sleep was excellent. The bathroom is very clean and modern. But, as mentioned by other reviewers, the smell of petroleum products was overwhelming as we made our way to the room through the garage. I have suggested to her that she just simply move her mixed fuel for her garden tools out to a shed. The smell initially made us want to move, if we had had the chance. The room is very small and is connected with the main part of her house. There was really no security from the house to our room. I suggested a lock on the bedroom door would have gone a long way to help in our feelings of privacy and security for our belongings. That being said, we did sleep well and were able to visit Stanley Park in the morning and return to pick up our belongings, which she kindly let us keep in her garage, before making our way to the airport after an overnight stay before a trip to Europe. Would we go back, it depends on whether she has implemented any of ours and others suggestions.

Excellent host. Room is not big but you have a lots of privacy. No stairs to climb. Washroom is clean. There is a little area with microwave, coffee machine, kettle and your own fridge.

The room was clean and comfortable. The shower has great water pressure, and the host was friendly. It was a little far from central Richmond but close enough to bus stops to make it not much of a hassle.
