"The patio and path to the beach was being upgraded while we were there but it is probably fine now. The single elevator broke down for one day but the staff were quick to assist. it is a lovely hotel with a first class (expensive) and delicous dining room. More non seafood should be on the menu. The hotel was much older than expected from details on the internet but in excellent condition. The two items we did not like were: 1) No microwave oven in our room but one was available by the elevator on each floor and 2) Zero drawers for clothing or anything in the room. The first time ever for both these items. Hot tub available but not desired and a beautiful/clean outdoor swimming pool but too cold outside for us."
