The fan didn't work well, frequent power trip, limited breakfast choice. But overall, it is still bearable, because we are at the land of Lord Shiva.
Dishonest and uncooperative. Not helpful at all. Anything we asked about information they provide disinformation. Extremely disappointed and disgusted.
The only thing which is good in this hotel is( Soory it is not hotel actually it dharamshala owned by one syco ) that it is near to temple and main aarti ghat i.e dashmesh ( spell may be incorrect).
Point wise review as below:-
1) During check -in owner insist me to not to check in on my name to do froud with online website by cancel the online booking and do directly through reception with discount of 500 rs .I denied the offer and he called me DARPOK.
2) Owner at reception denied payment through any online mode and kept me waiting at reception for 30 min with my parents ( 65 year plus) .
3) Room bedsheet and pillow are dirty and having strain on asking to change they replied it is clean and OK we will not change.
4) provide only single water bottle, towel ,Soap although I have booked room for 3 person with extra charge of one.
5) Room gate lock is not working, washroom gate not getting fully closed.Toile jet fitting is not OK.
on asking toilet paper they denied to give us by saying it is finished and later given excuse that they are only for foreigners and not for Indian guest. After a hot conversation of 5 min they provided from store where I see that they have plenty of rolls available but not provided.
6) Service boy not picked up luggage.
7) Small room one can only rest on bed after entering in the room.
Service and rooms are good enough, though its not value for money. One should stay here only if he/she is ready to walk with the luggage about 1.5 kms, as its in a 'no vehicle'zone and situated in very narrow by-lanes. Breakfast us served well after 8.45 am after the nearby hawkers open . Check in only if you are ready to walk with your luggage all the way
Very good hotel. Reliable staff, clean bed and hot shower are waiting for you. But if you arrive Varanasi in early morning or late night and try to go this hotel, you must be careful to wild dogs. They make groups and bark to pedestrians during people are sleeping. This this hotel is on back street and even bike taxis can’t go in, so you must go by yourself. I recommend you to use google map.
I was here with a good room that was very clean and good service especially the owner in hotel including his son . He shows me around the city of varanasi it was good just I came in varanasi alone

Get ready..back alleys..stepping over sleeping cows and trash to get to hotel..BUT, this is ghat district of Varanasi...Very, very fascinating area..If you've been to other places in India, this is ramped-up quite a bit for Indian-style intensity! The only thing I did not like is that family member of owner has silk and woven products store nearby. I was taken there ended up paying very high prices for what I got, with the owner obviously aware that he was taking me for a ride. I'm not sure I would reccommend that experience. But the main hotel owner and staff are very accommodating and overall I enjoyed my stay at this hotel.

Interesting location
Interesting location, very close to a gath. Unfortunately we booked a driver from the hotel that made our 7 h journey to Kajuharu a 16 h trip because the driver didn’t have the proper licens to cross the border :(
Really enjoyed my stay here. Very helpful and friendly staff. Very clean room and hotel in general, quiet but central location. I would definitely return to stay here.
Anup, Manish & Kuldeep were very friendly & courteous. They took good care of me during my stay in the hotel.
Aman, the guide recommended by the hotel was also very courteous & safely brought me to the various places in Varanasi.
This hotel is very near the ghat, where Ganga Arati is conducted daily.
I will strongly recommend this hotel to tourists.
Wunderwar! Excellent attention from Mr. Kuldeep and his family. Fresh bathrooms, essential for European travellers. Very well located and the restaurant that we’ve been advised of was the best in the city. Thanks!
