Good budget guest house

Location is very good. Guest house was clean and comfortable. Room was adequate sheets and pillowcases had holes but were clean. Breakfast ok. Staff friendly and helpful.

Staff was awesome at helping me with many questions. Facilities were good & comfortable. The immediate location is dirty but very centrally located and enough off the main 24/7 road to make it more relaxing. Breakfast was excellent. The only issue for me was having a room next to reception so I heard the doorbell a lot. The local power grid is a bit unreliable but works most of the time.

Abhijeet, the manager was unfailingly courteous and friendly and provided superb service. The area around the hotel is blocked off to taxis and is on a pedestrian lane and he was gracious enough to send a porter to meet my Rick Shaw to guide me to the hotel. Subsequently, he sent a porter with my luggage to the pick up point for my Uber to the airport. Outstanding service well done! The hotel doesn’t look like much on the outside, but the rooms are very attractive with plenty of hot water and an excellent breakfast is provided free of charge. Furthermore, the hotel is five minutes walk from the ghats and one minute walk from the main street.

Personal is very kind and want to help. The room unfortunately was dirty. The surrounding is very noisy outside and inside the hotel. The room certainly deserves an extra cleaning. The sheets have spots on them.

It’s very sad to have to say that this place was horrible. If they would spend some time doing maintenance in the hotel it could be so much better. The walls were dirty, the bathroom as well. The area around the property is disgusting. I don’t know how no one mentions the amount of flies here. Also it is so hard to find. It is close to the river but I wouldn’t really stay here again. The best thing about this place was the staff, they were very kind and helpful and the breakfast was nice too. Other than that everything was so dirty and again the hotel is so hard to find even the locals have a hard time finding it and you need to walk to it if you take an uber because there is a space where the cars cannot go in.

ガートから近く便利な位置にある。 ホテルのホスピタリティも素晴らしい！ 部屋はこじんまりとしていてよかったが、シャワー室は外とつながっており、とにかく虫がたくさんいた。また、3階だったのでwifiが繋がらなかった。 ホテルの前には牛や犬が多く、フンがたくさん落ちている。

Varanasi, a vibrant experience

Location wise it’s good - close to the Ghats and Temples either by walk or by rickshaws. The only thing that puts you off is the smelly and cow dung splattered lanes. Competition between people, vehicles & cows in the roads / lanes to the Ghats is very high. The authorities need to do something about it. It’s chaotic! If you are interested in buying sarees - we took up the suggestions of an electric riskshaw and a manual rickshaw drivers to take us to a saree manufacturer’s shop on 2 different occasions and found them to be genuine and good.

Well situated with comfortable beds!

The front desk staff are very kind and accommodating. The have great access to excursions and are knowledgeable about the city. Their Made to order breakfasts are another plus.

Good location. Good breakfast, Front Desk Issues

We had issues with the front desk. After we had checked in, they told us that we have to pay in cash only (I wasn't traveling with an ATM card as I charge everything, only have a little cash from previous trips) because their card reader wasn't working. We made it clear that we we couldn't. It was working by the time we checked out, but then without asking "for our convenience" they converted ₹ to the currency of my passport, even though my card is in ₹. And they tacked on a 5% convenience fee that they pocket while the charge was converted back to rupees to hit my bank. That was not the deal we had here on Hotels.com. Breakfast was simple but tasty and filling, Location is close the the middle of the ghats. But it is a little walk from the closest point an Uber can get you to the location.

Good location, close to the main ghat. Staff meet you to bring your bags back to hotel as cars cant get there. Friendly staff. No restaurant but can get room service from a nearly restaurant.
