"We came for a week and booked three more! It’s such a special place❤️ The staff treats you so well and looks after all your needs. It’s far enough away from the hustle and bustle of the cliffs but yet a short walk if you want to venture out for a meal. The beach is fabulous and the Arabian Sea water is so warm and therapeutic. Afternoons are often spent around the pool with a book. They’ve just built a fabulous Ayurveda clinic a stones throw away and the massage was excellent. I can’t say...

"Good hotel, rooms a bit small and in need of a freshen up, but not to bad. Could have done with a fridge in the Duluxe A/C room that we stayed in. Great food, no upset stomach all the time we were there ( 10 Nights ) Close to the beach, around a two minute walk away, nice pool, always sun beds available to use.Staff were helpful and good fun, they made our stay at the Akhil Beach really nice. "Not worth the almost $80 a night charge for a room that's old and mouldy with no air conditioning in the heat of Kerala. Much better options available elsewhere in this town for the same price and even less where you can find better conditions with professional and courteous staff."

"It’s primitive. Like an abandoned infirmary. If you like camping, then it’s ok. Don’t recommend for those concerned about illnesses tranmsitted by musquitos. Not child safe. Can see an accident and a law suit in its future."

"Stay - Extra comfy bed in King room with huge bathroom and central courtyard. Loved the theme and cleanliness. Breakfast was huge and enough!!
