Cosy, peaceful and elevated house on its own island with a beautiful panoramic view. In addition to the included rowing boat and the motor for hire, the following can be hired separately: 1 extra rowing boat, 1 extra motor and 2 canoes. Canoes can also be hired from the owner. A paradise for nature lovers without traffic noise. You park your car on the mainland on the beautiful sandy beach, the distance from the car park to the boat is short, 50 m from the permanent car park to the landing stage. The crossing takes about 5 minutes. Lake Stendammen and the other lakes in the lake system are ideal for swimming, canoeing and fishing. Free fishing. The area is called Svartedalen and is the largest contiguous nature area in southern Sweden consisting of forests and lakes. Shopping, parking on the mainland. To be on the safe side, drinking water can be obtained from a tap on the mainland, e.g. in Lilla Edet! Close to the Thorskogs Castle conference centre.

Please note that: Consumption costs are not included in the room rate and will be charged according to guest use within three weeks after check-out. Up to two pets are allowed.

Overpriced object

The interior and the house are clearly “getting on in years”. The interior is partly broken and uncomfortable. There is no room for 4 people on the terrace. The boats are in very poor condition. We were not even informed about the chemical toilet via our booking portal. It is in a kind of storage room in the house and has to be emptied regularly by the tenants. It smells in the house... We like to travel to the north of Europe and stay close to nature and in alternative accommodation. However, the house disappointed us massively. We rather left...
