You must have her cook for you, every item of food is from her farm or nearby farms and the food was perfect! We really enjoyed our time here with not only the accommodations but the company. "We had a large group of friends holiday with families. We rented the entire accommodation. It was clean and tidy and a great location. The views are amazing. A good communal area so we could all be together for cooking meals. The pool area was beautiful and clean. You do need a car for access as it is quite tucked away in the mountain. "Simply stunning place right away from it all in the Tuscan hills. We loved the pool, the quiet area and generally feeling relaxed. Barga was close and nearby with more than enough shops etc for food. The owner was so kind and welcoming, it was like staying with family! Definitely 5 stars from us!"

"Truly had such a lovely stay in this beautiful villa. We are a family of 8 (6 adults, 2 children under 5) and this worked perfectly for us. Comfortable beds, plenty of bathrooms and Carmine the host was very attentive and helpful at all times. The villa is in great proximity to the main walled city of Lucca and there is plenty of space to park if you have hired cars (we had 2 cars). "We went as a group of 12 and had a wonderful holiday. We had enough space inside and outside the house, the rooms were very clean and with a beautiful view of the tuscan mountains. The Kitchens were well equipped and catered to all our needs, the Pool is big and perfect for a refreshment in between. Thank you for a lovely time!"

"Pure tranquility with the constant burble of the trout stream. The house is quite someway up a mountain, down a dirt track and in a valley - not for the faint hearted. Pool relies on sun to heat and the temperature was still quite fresh in June. Great location for access to Florence, Pisa, Chianti wine region, and host of beautiful hilltop towns and villages.
