The hotel is very nice but when we did the check out the staff was kind of rude. On the other side when we checked in the lady at the front desk was very friendly and helpful.

Everything was great from check in to check out. The room was spotless and modern, especially the bathroom. The king bed was comfortable. The steam room in the fitness center was a great free perk, and the breakfast was fabulous, with everything from eggs and bacon to fruit salad and yogurts and pastries, not to mention any type of breakfast beverage. Location was very close to the port and the parking was free and easy. You can’t go wrong with this place.

Very nice hotel and room, very clean. Very friendly and helpful employees. We could park our bicycle in an office for the time of our stay. Checkin and checkout were very easy and quick, no waiting time.

Staying at Max Hotel Livorno was an excellent experience! The location is very convenient, with easy access to both the city center and transportation. The rooms are spacious, modern, and very clean, offering great comfort after a day exploring Tuscany. Just 15 minute walk on sidewalks from the train station if you use the south tunnel that exits on the east side of the tracks. Excellent restaurant for dinner and a good breakfast. Good prices for both. Good wine and drink selection. Very nice bathroom. Would have liked a hot pot in room for early coffee in room or more than one cup of coffee with breakfast.

Convenient to train station.

This was a great one night stay close to Livorno Centrale. A very good restaurant off of the lobby also. If walking from the train stations, it is about 15 minutes, but do not follow "pin" locater on Google maps, as it is inaccurate. Follow google MAP to get there.

Max hotel was too far from the centre and we couldn’t get a taxi. The actual hotel was quite good though, the breakfast, the staff and it had parking. Maybe in the peak time there would me more taxis ang going into the centre wouldn’t be a problem

Excellent location for a city break base

Excellent location for a city break base… 15min walk to Livorno Centrale train station, 15 mins to Pisa and 90mins to Cinque Terre villages, and 90mins to Florence. Room was very clean and we had everything we needed. The staff were super friendly and extremely helpful. We weren’t too keen on the restaurant options so ordered a couple of pizzas from deliveroo.
