Friendly host, close to beach

We had a great stay at the cozy apartment. The apartment owner greeted us warmly. Everything was in working order. We stayed throughout the week ofChristmas and were surprised by the nightly fireworks, which went late into the night. It’s not the end of the world just something to be aware of. Walking distance to the beach, groceries, several restaurants, and bakery.Be prepared for mosquitoes inside and out, it is an island after all.

Sitting on the wrap-around porch in the evenings was pure heaven, and at first, I thought the gentle background sound was just the wind in the trees. Turns out—it was the ocean waves crashing onto the rocks! That moment of realization was magical. The beach was perfect, and the local food vendors? Let me tell you—the best Alcapurrias, hands down!By the end of our stay, we were already talking about coming back and booking all three floors—that’s how much we enjoyed it, even under the circumstances. Marianela was a fantastic host—super attentive, lightning-fast with replies (day or night), and incredibly helpful with local info. I also appreciated the sense of security, with the property well-lit throughout the night.If I had one tiny suggestion, it would be to have a welcome book with local excursions and instructions on how to book them, plus getting the outdoor BBQ patio ready to go.
