"Extremely pleasant and nice staff. The small town had all the amenities that you may want. The hotel was close to the center of town and a number of places to eat along the canal. I would stay here again."

"The location is excellent — all within walking distance to the train, downtown shops and restaurants. The staff went above and beyond to be helpful. The downside was in the suite we had limited showering privacy, no temperature control in the room (rectified by staff providing a portable heater). The suite we were in had high walls, cement ceiling, and no softness to absorb sounds from other guests. A gentleman in one of the rooms either above, below or beside was on a telephone call that lasted until 2:00 am — he was using a normal tone of voice, but we could hear him. The front desk response in the morning was that we should have called down to them (hindsight); but, we actually didn’t know where to say the voice was coming from. Otherwise our 6 night stay was good to excellent."

"I travel a lot for work and this is, by far, the best hotel I stay in. The beds, pillows are fantastic, I always sleep so well. The pool and gym are a very very good standard. The only thing I would improve in this hotel is the time it takes for food to be served in the restaurant. We had a meal of 8 people and it took a very long time. Great hotel though!"

"We had a bit of problem finding the hotel with GoogleMaps, turns out there are 2 entrances available to the hotel, Google took us to the back entrance; which was a little confusing. Other than that, we had a lovely stay. The room was basic, but clean and comfortable. Shower and toilet separate, which is great when traveling with family! Breakfast was in a beautiful arched room, good variety of cheeses, fruit and breads."

"We could not change the temperature in the room, and as a result the loft was very warm and it was difficult to sleep. The staff and maintenance could not or would not change the thermostat. The second night we were moved to a regular room and it was better, but the temperature was still too warm."

"Nice hotel to stay. Close to city center, restaurants. Very helpful staff. Good WiFi. Breakfast was sufficient, however could be better (fresher) for such level of hotel. Two-day-old leftovers (croissants)"
