Welcome to my home right in the centre of Velden—my house is situated on a 2,400-square-meter lot—with a view from the guest apartment directly into the large garden. You’ll have your own terrace with lounge chairs, a table with seating, and a parasol. A Weber gas grill (Q1000) is available upon request. The lake is 180 metres away, and everything is within walking distance. For more adventurous guests, we can also arrange whitewater rafting, canyoning, or water skiing.<br><br>Casino Velden - All in!<br>Just a short walk from the Schloss Hotel, the casino is the place to see and be seen, impressing guests with its enticing gaming areas, bars, restaurants, and upscale conference facilities.<br><br>Maria Wörth Pilgrimage Church<br>The world-famous pilgrimage church of Maria Wörth stands on a peninsula on the southern shores of Lake Wörthersee. A church dedicated to the Virgin Mary was built on this site at the end of the 9th century. Later, the relics of Saints Primus and Felizian were brought to Maria Wörth from Rome.<br><br>House of Archaeology – Kathreinkogel<br>Take a walk back in time to the Roman era! An excavation site from the third century featuring a museum. Enjoy a lovely view of Lake Woerthersee and the Rosental valley. The 772-meter Kathreinkogel rises steeply from the valley between the Drau River and the western bay of Lake Wörthersee and was first settled in the 7th century BC.<br><br>Museums<br><br>Carinthia boasts an abundance of museums and galleries that offer something for every taste. Highly recommended are the Carinthian Museum of Modern Art in Klagenfurt, which showcases modern and contemporary art, and the Galerie Walker at Ebenau Castle.<br><br>
