"We were welcomed to Spain with a phone call from Anna telling us off because two of our party had the temerity to arrive early at the property! After the dodgy start we were eventually welcomed with a cold beer. That’s better! Then the day after arrival we were lumbered with having to provide all of our personal details for the Spanish tourist authorities. Information that should have been requested months ago and not what you expect to be doing when you’re actually on holiday. We were disappointed with the hilly uneven access to the property which wasn’t mentioned in the listing. This affected us because two of our party of six suffer with hip problems and consequently had to use the car whenever they left the property, even if we were just going to the first restaurant! Several things in the listing were no longer available such as the pool swimming resistance system. The outdoor equipment was old, dated and some of it extremely grubby. There wasn’t a decent comfortable outdoor chair in the whole property. Benches on two sides of the table meant you had to lean against the window anti theft grilles. Extremely uncomfortable, so we were constantly moving stuff around to get comfortable. Sun loungers looked grubby and the barbecue was an absolute joke, there should be a decent large portable one. The parasols weren’t fit for purpose. So to sum up, we would say the inside of the property was nice and well looked after, but the outside equipment needs updating big time !"
