The pictured of the property do not do it any justice. The property sits right next to a canal, and my wife was thrilled beyond belief. Another positive was the white table cloth breakfast served by Bert every morning in the lovely garden. The staff was very friendly and helpful. There was a delicious welcome box of Belgian chocolates waiting for us upon arrival. The buffet breakfast was incredible with options for every type of diet and a beautiful dining room. The spa was a lovely way to end the day. The location was ideal, quiet yet walkable distance to everything. I highly recommend this hotel for couples. "Breakfast is too early 6am is 7.30am, the room also had a smell to it, also I had a problem and got stuck out of my room, which was dealt in a surreal way. I stay in hundreds of hotels per year and this was definitely one of my worst experiences."

Dinner was ok.
Breakfast . Very disappointing and over priced. Little choice , scrambled eggs were uninviting, bacon swimming in oil, no fruit on offer, only croissants and bread rolls with limited ham and cheese, packets of cereal and limited jams and yogurt.
Orange juice was good , we were not offered a second cup of coffee.
To sum up give breakfast miss and find a local bakery."

"I had a brilliant stay at this hotel and would definitely return. The breakfast was excellent – perfectly cooked eggs and bacon, a great variety of fresh breads and rolls, and loads of pastries to enjoy.
