A charming and cosy place to stay. The owner was very friendly and kind. I would come back to the place again . One practical advice: if you will arrive late, make sure you specify the arrival time, and discuss how you can reach out the reception staff if you arrive earlier or later than the specified time. Just telling your flight details may not be enough. I arrived earlier than the time the hotel staff thought I would arrive at. I only told my flight details and did not specify the arrival time.This caused a bit of trouble. In the end, the how staff were very kind and nice, but just to avoid any issues, make sure you say what time you will arrive

Hotel is more like a private property as it has only 6 rooms, i stayed at room # 11 and it was very clean, large, with AC, en-suite but standing shower which i don't mind. Very quiet location, only 8-10 minutes walk to main ferry or bus terminals. Daniel greeted us in night time and was very helpful and other guy (sorry i forgot his name) came in morning was also polite and helpful. Lady (i think Maria) with Green eyes served nice basic English breakfast was also very good and efficient. I would love to stay there again.

Really enjoyed our stay at the Allegro Marinelli . Owners were helpful , rooms were nice and tidy. Location was brilliant, really close to everything. The breakfast area outside was an enjoyable slace to have breakfast

I loved everything about this property. It was easy to get to from the Marco Polo airport (express bus from airport to Pizzaelle Roma and quick walk to hotel, phone GPS was 100% accurate for the walk). Exploring Venice was easy from this location and it was clean and comfortable. Would stay here again!!

Fantastic location in Venice just off Piazzale Roma, quiet but with plenty of dining options nearby and only a stroll to the more touristy parts of Venice.

This place was perfect for us. The location is very convenient if you arrive by car an you have luggage you need to carry/store. The rooms are well kept and the place feels warm and inviting. Service was excellent.

Daniel was a superb host and was very accommodating with respect to things like an early check-in. Neighbourhood is quiet, and convenient for public transportation since it's near Piazzale Roma. Breakfast was very basic.

This hotel is located in a quieter section of Venice that's not too far away from Piazzale Roma. The host was very nice and welcoming. The bed was slightly on the firmer side with only one pillow per side, but this seems to be commonplace throughout Italy. The continental breakfast was straightforward and simple. I would stay here again if I revisit Venice.

We had a wonderful 4night stay with Daniel and Nick, who were very helpful and able to help us make the most of our first visit to Venice. It will not be our last visit. Hotel was in a quiet street, near to restaurants and the bus station and actv water bus. Excellent value, very friendly and clean and comfortable.

We found this a great area to stay in. It was very close to both the bus and train terminals, which made it easy to walk our luggage in and out. The room we were in was very nicely decorated and very comfortable and the staff were great to deal with. We found it easy enough to visit all the sites we were interested in by walking, and were very glad to be near the train station when leaving in the rain. Only minor downside, and it was very minor, was that the Wi-Fi was quite slow.

Good for a short stay
First of all I was charged 150 euros per night instead of $130 as was advertised on your site. Maybe I missed some hidden charges, like extra surcharge when credit card used, or something else. Major drawbacks were mosquitos in the room, and mediocre breakfast. I don't mean delicacies or hot meal. It was basically crossaint and coffee. Location was good , since we needed quick access to the port. Seems that there are better deals somewhere else. PS No elevator.

Location is wonderful. Very easy to find right near Piazza Del Roma as well as very easy access to all city points and vaporettos. Not a 24 hour reception, so make sure you communicate when you will be arriving. The room was clean and comfortable, great air conditioning, but the pillows were awful. Very flat and uncomfortable. However, Nick and Daniel are both very helpful if needed.

Wonderful pre cruise vacation!
Great staff, nice spacious rooms in a great location. Only wish there was an elevator or wider stairway for large luggage. I will revisit and recommend this spot. Thank you.

Misrepresentation on Bed Size
I was disappointed in that I signed up and paid for a queen bed. My confirmation from Hotels.com showed queen. The confirmation also showed Economy Double. I shared this information with Nick. He said I reserved an economy double and that the bed in room 13 was a queen. It was not a queen. Because there is no air conditioning in October and because it still gets warm we needed to open the window to cool the room at night. There are lots of mosquitos. I recommend netting or applying deet before you go to bed. You could leave the windows closed but then you couldn't sleep. We got multiple bites on our face.

Fantastic hotel in Venice Would highly recommend.
Our second stay at Alloggi Marinella . It's a great place to stay, convenient for water taxi, buses, trains and People Mover for cruise transfers. Close enough to wander the streets of Venice for St Marks, Rialto Bridge and all other top ten places. Local water taxis to all the islands etc . The hosts Dan & Nick are great and recommend lots of different unusual and beautiful places to visit . We have been to Venice many times over the last 40 years and would never stay anywhere else now we have found Alloggi Marinella.

I stayed for 3 nights for a conference. The location was great. About a 3 minute walk from the bus drop-off from the airport. The staff was friendly and helpful. I was accommodated with an early check-in after my overnight flight. They even provided me with an outlet adapter as I forgot to bring one. The room was clean and comfortable.

Nice small basic hotel run by nice people
I visit the cruise ships for business. This is a good base for me close to the terminal and reasonably priced. The rooms are not huge but they are immaculate with a working fridge and good wi-fi. Down sides, no tea/coffee facilities and a fairly basic breakfast that does not start until 8.am

Great location, but a little hard to find upon arrival at Plazza Roma of the airport bus. People even within a few doors of the hotel did not know where it was. Very quiet room; nice continental breakfast outside on the patio. Hotel owner was very helpful, but when he was out, the lady at the desk spoke very little English which made our check in a little bit of a venture.

The location is wonderful. Only two bridges away from P Roma. This location was perfect for getting off the cruise, taking the Cortina Express to the mountains, catching a bus to the airport and always finding our way back to our "homebase" when walking the streets of Venice - especially at night. The hotel is more like a bed and breakfast. Have the phone number on you because Nick and Daniel aren't there 24/7. They both were extremely helpful with all our questions. Breakfast was served every morning at 8am. If I wanted coffee earlier, I'd walk out the door and around the corner for good espresso. We were there for 3 nights in May so it was not yet hot. Air conditioning does not get turned on in many places until June. Met two ladies at a restaurant our first night who were staying at a place nearby and they wanted to checkout because it was so unclean. Next time we saw them they were at Alloggi Marinella trying to get a room. Alloggi Marinella was clean, quiet, and very safe.

Hosts very friendly and welcoming. Room very spacious, ample wardrobe and a small fridge. Area quiet and only one bridge from Piazzale Roma and close to the station. Good breakfast is included. I would stay here again.

WE HAD 3 FANTASTIC DAYS STAYING AT ALLOGI MARINELLA NICK AND DAN WERE LOVELY - SO HELPFUL AND FRIENDLY - CHATTING OVER BREAKFAST WITH IDEAS OF PLACES TO VISIT. WE LOOK FORWARD TO STAYING WITH THEM AGAIN - WE LOVE VENICE HAVING BEEN MANY TIMES BUT THIS IS THE ONE HOTEL WE WILL BE COMING BACK TO. We wanted something easy to get to from the Piazzale Roma bus stop. We had only one set of stairs over one bridge to haul our suitcases over. It was very convenient for arrival and an early (5am) departure for the airport. That also put us near the first vaporetto stop on the Grand Canal so we were able to get a seat even at busy times. The staff were friendly and helpful, helping us get the bigger suitcase up and down the three flights of stairs (no elevator). Breakfast was very basic but adequate. The juice, yogurt, and coffee were good, cereal was limited to cornflakes, and there were some packaged pastries if you needed more. The room we had at the top was warm but the air conditioning had been turned off for the season. The windows had no screens (typical for Europe) so we had mosquitoes to contend with at night.

A cosy hotel, you have the keys to your room and to the front door. As expected in Venice, you might need "hotel service" to transfer your luggage to and from the hotel. We spent two nights. The hotel was very pleasant to be in. Might be over-priced, but Venice hotels are generally expensive.

One Night in Venezia
One night stay after a Mediterranean cruise. Charming hotel close to the bus terminal and People Mover (important for us). Clean, well-appointed 6 room hotel. We felt welcomed and all our questions answered. Didn't get to participate in breakfast, as we had an early flight.

Easy to walk from cruise ship, bus, and train.
We choose this place based on reviews. costs, and our hope that we could walk there with our luggage from our 12 day cruise. We walked across the port parking, used the People Mover, got off at the bus stop area in Venice and walk just a few blocks more and we were there! Doesn't have a canal view, but nice. We had the downstairs room, plenty of room, though it could possibly have noise issues, but we didn't have any problems. We are not experienced travelers but feel blessed to have found this place. Great value for the cost.

Second stay here and just as good as the first.
A very convenient place to stay not far from the railway station and buses from the airport. Very quiet surroundings and a well maintained building. Staff are friendly and obliging, I needed an early breakfast before my flight home and this was arranged with a smile. This is a great safe place to stay as a lone female.
