Amazing hotel lovely Venetian style decor our rooms were kept spotlessly clean, beds changed daily and turned down each evening. staff so helpful and extremely friendly, attentive very professional. Excellent breakfast. Views over St Mark's Square and the Basilica, Florins just across the square easy access to gondola trips, transport to the islands. Rialto bridge ten minutes away. Yes was some noise from the hustle and bussel of the square the bells etc that's to be expected and adds to the experience. Ideal perfectly situated hotel for our stay in Venice

A great hotel to stay at. Couldn't be more central. The staff were wonderful and very helpful. The room was beautiful and very clean. Only one point. The basic shower head and the way it was attached to the wall made standing in the shower awkward. If they could get a fixed shower from the ceiling it would be perfect. Well worth the money and would recommend.

Very good location. Friendly staff. Breakfast was good and workers work fast to clean up and refill, but breakfast area can’t fit all people and we have to wait some days even we had preservations. We definitely will stay there again

Close to St.Mark’s and I walking distance from main sights. Also easy access to water transport. Local restaurants next to hotel have a range of menus and prices. Staff at the Hotel are helpful without being pushy. Breakfast looking out on the Basilica was a unique treat.

The hotel is beautiful and could not be in a better location. We had a 2 bedroom suite with a balcony looking at St Marks and absolutely loved our rooms. The hotel also set up our transportation to and from the airport which was so convenient. The only complaints I have is breakfast was less then desirable and the the noise outside of the hotel is loud (I know they don’t control the noise but just be forewarned there is a bar below and you will hear loud noises/talking to early hours in the morning)

Staff totally disinterested. Bed was terrible, two single beds which kept falling apart, crack in middle meant i couldn't cuddle my partner. Very uncomfortable, woke up with a bad back every morning. When i mentioned it to reception staff weren't bothered and just said all beds were the same. Hotel is very dated, bathroom had cracks on bath and needs updating badly. Definitely not up to 4☆ standard.

The rooms are large and well furnished. The hotel is charming. The staff are friendly and helpful. The location is perfect. The bathrooms are modern and clean. I would definitely book here again.

This hotel has the best location right on the corner of St. Mark’s Square. Make sure to request the room with the balcony. The daytime staff was excellent and professional. At nighttime, however, they seem to close everything down and the one staff person at night basically seems to sleeps in the office behind the lobby counter. He’s totally unprofessional. Comes out yawning, rude and unhelpful in every way.

Noisy at night
The hotel was very clean and staff was very nice. The rooms were also very aesthetically pleasing and it was nice that they provided a cold breakfast for us (we had to check out before breakfast opened). The more negative responses were a reflection of 1) our room was directly above a noisy bar. The noise didn’t quiet down until 1 AM. For my wife who is a sensitive sleeper, this was very problematic. 2) the bed was uncomfortable and pillows were flat.

This old and traditional hotel could not have been in a better location; being only a 3 minute walk from St. Mark's Plaza. The staff was very gracious and wonderfully helpful. The room was on the small side, but very clean with an updated bathroom and comfortable bed. When we checked out the staff arranged a water taxi to the airport and a porter walked our luggage to meet the taxi at a canal at the end of the street. The water taxi was expensive (160 euros) but got us to the airport in only 20 minutes. (the airport has a taxi dock!). The only negative was that the Expedia rate (which quite was expensive to start) did not include a 95 Euro City tax. The only negative was that Expedia did not

The facility was nice and conveniently located. Staff was nice and friendly. Hotel provided a complimentary visit to Murano Island including a glass making session to a prominent glass factory which was a very nice experience. Water taxi was available right around the corner which the hotel would arrange any time for us. Rooms were clean and bathrooms were pretty decent size. Their breakfast was very good. All in all a very good experience!

This is my 3rd time at this hotel. Great staff, great location it’s really unbeatable. Water taxis come up to within 20 meters of the hotel.

Dear Naeem,we're a little bit surprised about this review. You booked two classic double rooms, for 4 people, but at your arrival you were 5 people. The youngest child is were 12 years old, big enough to have an extrabed. So you paid the upgrade from classic double room to triple junior suite. Iron is not premitted in the room for safety reason, we have laundry service or a steamer available. We don't provide kettle in the rooms but there is always someone available for hot water.
