Owner/ general manager is very nice and friendly. Night clerk not so much. Facilities vary from room to room. Some rooms have stronger AC, while some barely work. Shower pressure vary from room to room as well and the water temperature can change from cold to hot or hot to cold for no reason. 5/5 for day staff 3/5 for facilities Overall 4/5

It's an older building, very well kept, just a 5 minute walk from the train station. My room had a step up to the bathroom, which might be an issue for some. The shower (great shower), was in a separate nook, also with a step up. Excellent breakfast.

The hotel works because it is close to the train station. But their rooms are not so comfortable and their staff doesn't help much.

The property is near the train station which made it easy to get to Venice. The staff is also very friendly. There were four of us so I rented two rooms and I was given an upstairs (no elevator) 2 bedroom apartment with a kitchen. The apartment was very clean and spacious. It had one AC unit in the hallway that could not cool the bedrooms.We went to bed and were awakened by something biting us. We found and made a video of the bed bugs in the bed.

Very convenient for train to Venice. Only 3 min walk then 10 min ride to Venice. Not the best part of the town. Seemed safe during the day but not at night off the main street. Hotel is fine. Not luxurious but good for the buck.

Booked this hotel as an inexpensive option as opposed to staying in Venice and just taking the train into Venice. Cost wise was a savings indeed. There was onsite parking for 15e a day. The hotel is a block from the train station, easy to walk to. Train staff helped us figure out how to buy tickets, cost was 2.90e for 2 people both ways. Staff at hotel was kind and helpful. Breakfast was very basic, wish I didn't do that upgrade. We were in an apartment like room. It appeared clean on the surface. We found the room actually quite filthy aside from the surface clean. Windows were caked with dust and dirt. Curtains were stained. Water stains on ceilings. Visible mold on ceilings and bathroom. Bathroom sink slow to drain. Shower faucet and track was dirty. The kitchen had no soap and let's just say I would never cook in that kitchen as the items in drawers were questionable it clean. We didn't use the hallway a/c but the fan function worked however this does not cool the bedrooms. Thankfully it was only 20degrees out. We only used the hotel for sleeping. I got sick the two days I was there, maybe due to mold. The area around the hotel is ghetto but I guess that's what you get for staying by the train station. I would probably book a more upscale hotel next time and make the walk longer to train station to just stay in Venice.
