Great location but the property is very old and dingy. The rooms are very small and everything is falling apart. Our bed was broken, rolling and making noise all night and the mattress was terrible. Not worth the money. I recommend finding another property nearby.

Convenient location
The place was old which you can expect in Venice. The room we stayed in was clean and staff are very friendly and helpful. However, if you are used to US standards this hotel is not for you. It is correct that it is 1 star rated. Overall we enjoyed our stay in Venice.

Convenient & old location but lack of amenities
Re: Stay in Venice (Aug 08/23 to Aug 13/23) No elevator; no receptionist at full day; no hair dryer; no safety box in room; no refrigerator in room; toilet seat is broken so when sit on it… sometimes the toilet cover clipped your leg; portable air conditioning very mediocre and it doesn’t cool & blow often warm air; air conditioning can’t be moved otherwise it’s pulling away off the wall hole; roof ventilator not working; bended plastic cup provided for bathroom. Convenient location to train station and water bus; some restaurants and shopping stores close by. Have been in Italy before and even Venice too, majority of hotels provided breakfast.
Broken toilet seat… gapped the leg often. The seat also isn’t stable.

Horribly unsafe! Terrible situation.
The hotel staff person wanted to check me into a room for which the previous occupant (who they mentioned seemed strange) still had the key. She assured me I would be safe because they staff the hotel entrance, but I stood there for 5min before anyone noticed me so I didn't trust that. I refused to stay in a room that is not secure. The hotel would neither provide another room nor refund my visit. I am now fighting with Hotels.com for reimbursement that they say they cannot honor due to the "hotel's cancellation policy". Hotels.com actually suggested I keep the unsecure room. If I had gone with Hotel Rossi and Hotels.coms' suggestions to stay here, I probably would have been robbed and/or murdered in my sleep.

Dear Customer,We just wanted to tell her that sometimes the customer takes the keys with them, but in your case they were returned immediately after you left, as Hotels.com was also told when they contacted us.So the room was ready and perfectly safe, but it was your (free) choice not to stay with us and therefore for us the reservation remains as valid as the payment.

A very pleasant stay
I had a room on the very top floor. There aren’t many rooms but the hotel looked like it had been renovated in the last little while. My room had a balcony which was a very nice treat and quite unexpected. After doing Airbnbs for the majority of my trip to finally have AC was very nice. The room and hotel was quite clean. There were two bathrooms on the floor which usually meant never waiting. The sink in the room itself was quite handy. Perfect room for a solo traveller. Very close to the train station and water buses. Very happy I booked it. I read several reviews stating you had to check in at another hotel and had to pay to get the AC remote. Perhaps the check-in is for late arrivals but I never encountered any of that. There was someone working at the entrance of the hotel. Very nice young man.

No lobby no internet
The check in is complicated. They don't even have a real lobby. You have to call and wait and wait and hope someone comes down. They also claim to have internet but they don't. Otherwise the location is convenient and at least they have AC (which they advertise) but not much good to say about this place.

Only good thing is location..Never seen such small room and small bathroom and price is very high.No elevator.have to carry the luggage all the way to 3rd floor with kids.he gave room to couples and young ppl 1st flour.didn’t even consider any of our requests and very rude.Charged extra for us.

This property is fantastic. Location couldn’t be better and the staff are here very nice. This is my 9th trip to this city and the facilities and the rooms are exceptional for this city and I would definitely stay here again!

Great Location and Staff; Very Small Bathroom.
The hotel is in a good location—close to the San Lorenzo Marketplace and close to the train station. We were easily able to walk there with all of our luggage. The staff was very warm and friendly! However, the bed was smaller than a double-bed and the bathroom was extremely small. The shower was in a corner of the room and when we sat on the toilet, our feet were actually in the shower area. Ha ha. We only stayed for two nights and we don’t go on vacation to spend a lot of time in the hotel, so it wasn’t a big problem for us. There was a lift to get our luggage up to the hotel and the hotel had great security. There was great food at the Marketplace.

Great location lousy breakfast.
The location is great, being on a quiet side lane. The rooms are modest and the service is adequate. The included breakfast consists of two rock hard buns and some jam but they do give you coffee. If you can get a discount for a room without breakfast, do so, because there are many really nice cafés in the neighbourhood.

Budget hotel in good location
Stayed two nights. Located in very convenient place - 5 mins from central station and easy to access shops and restaurant. Bed is not comfortable, but okay to stay. It is very hot in summer because aircon is not operating even though it's been installed.

Rossi hotel fine but luggage to room is difficult
Rossi hotel is fine, around 10 minutes walk from train station, as Venice hotels are with stair only (no lift), most of the hotel will help client to pick up luggage to their room, but Rossi will not help, you need to move up and down the luggages to 3rd floor! If you need to check out in the morning, better to ask staff when is the best time to check up (one day before your leaving), because no receiption in the morning time, only have a madam who prepare the breakfast, open door and received payment for check out, cannot give you payment receipt and cannot pay by credit card.

Very basic accommodations in excellent location
Most important to us was budget price as we had been travelling around Europe for two weeks and kept our costs in mind. Second was convenience to Ple. Roma and the Train station. This hotel is a 10 minute walk to/from the bus station plaza (Ple. Roma) Only one bridge to cross! It is set back from the main street so it is much quieter than many of the very high priced hotels in that area. Our room was described as a spacious double, but we had to put one of or carry on sized bags on the chair and the other in the closet. We were pleased that it had a tiny balcony. Shower on first floor did not work, but the second one, shared by two floors was fine and over two days and nights we had no problems with people waiting to use it. Hotel staff were cordial and helpful and have a hairdryer at the front desk for guests to use. As we both read at night we missed having a working light behind the bed. It was broken or bulbs burned out. Bed was comfortable and clean. Breakfast was described as full breakfast, but it was only continental rolls, juice and coffee.

Great location - 10 minute walk from the bus station, less from the train station. Really well placed for a short walk into the heart of Venice. The room was a little bit small (no surprise for being 5 minutes from the heart of Venice), air conditioned, decent shower, breakfast included (where breakfast means the usual rolls and jam with coffee). The staff are friendly and generally nice - the desk is staffed 24 hours. The hotel is possibly difficult to find (it's down a small road) but this means it is quiet so we slept well. Make sure you mark it on a map before you go.

Very Average..
The hotel is at a very good location but we were surprised to pay them twice the price of a 2 stars hotel and still not being satisfied with the stay. Apart from the price being on the higher side, the hotel breakfast was very ordinary and the staff at the breakfast room was not at all helpful or cordial. The room size was questionable since they have the same room size all over the hotel, but just increase the number of beds according to demand unlike other hotels which have specific sizes for specific number of people in total!

Parto dagli aspetti positivi, personale gentilissimo e molto disponibile sia al telefono che in struttura. Avevamo bisogno del frigorifero e non essendo presente in stanza ci hanno messo a disposizione quello riservato al personale, stessa cosa per l'asciugacapelli. Molto vicino alla stazione, per noi è stato un punto a favore purché con una bambina e un cane avevamo la necessità di lasciare subito le valigie senza fare molti giri. L'ultimo giorno abbiamo pututo lasciare le valigie in struttura così abbiamo sfruttato il nostro tempo fino alla fine. Purtroppo in struttura non c'è l'ascensore, la stanza era molto piccola e la nota dolente è stata il bagno, molto piccolo, niente bidet, niente piatto doccia, porta a soffietto rumorosa e poco isolante dal punto di vista acustico e le pulizie potrebbero essere fatte meglio. Il prezzo conveniente rispetto ad altre strutture della zona ma non regalato.

L'hôtel est proche de la gare de bus ( aeroport ), lendroit est plus tot calme aussi. Ce que jai apprécié le plus, c'est que l'hôte d'accueil m'a proposé de laisser mes valises à l'hotel de le dernier jour pour pouvoir continuer mes visites tranquillement

Struttura ad una stella nei pressi della stazione. La posizione è ottima perché consente di fare poca fatica con le valigie, ed è incluso il servizio di deposito bagagli. La struttura è piuttosto pulita. L'unico punto critico è che nelle camere non è presente la televisione e il bagno è molto piccolo. Comunque è un'ottima soluzione per dei soggiorni brevi, da una o due notti al massimo
