Wonderful
A wonderful little oasis of calm. Located a street back from the main road so peaceful. Easy and quick to get to both the vaporetto and the beach. Staff lovely. Only thing I would say is if you’re tall, the loft rooms have very low ceilings in places!

Great place to stay on Venice Lido. So convenient for the boat ferry to and from 'main' Venice, and an easy walk to the Lido Beach if you fancy a relaxing day. Lovely comfortable room, and good continental selection for breakfast - note the hotel does not serve lunch or dinner options. Would recommend as a place to stay.

We stayed at Villa Pannonia some years ago, and we enjoyed being able to return from busy Venice of an evening to sample the restaurants of Lido. As then, on our most recent visit, March 2023, we found Hotel Villa Pannonia a friendly place to stay, with clean well appointed rooms and lovely staff. There are many options provided for breakfast and the staff are very helpful and accommodating. The hotel is around 10 minutes walk from the Vaporetto and the various options for getting around. There are many restaurant options on the nearby main Street, and Lido is a lovely place to be based. For anyone visiting in summer, there is a large beach as a further option, which with us visiting in March we didn’t sample. I highly recommend Hotel Villa Pannonia.

Thank you for your review.We have to inform you that the air conditioning is still working, but it is set to 24 degree, as per Italian government recommendations: if it didn't turn on it means that the temperature was below the allowed limit.

I was surprised on how long it took to get to this hotel from the train station, it took us 1 1/2 hours by boat. So when we left we had to catch a train at 6:30 in the morning so we had to get up and leave at 4:30 in the morning just so we could make it in time. If you are looking at being where all the action and fun is, I would not go here. The hotel was pretty nice though.

Dear Trevor, thank you for your feedback, we're happy you liked our Hotel. About your concern regarding the boat connections with the train station, unfortunately the night and early morning races are not so frequent, and they are provided by line N° 1 that stops at every station: but it takes about 40 minutes to get here during the day, when the boat connections are operated by faster lines.

Finally got to Venice - Our 2019 Xmas present
Booked 2 rooms - my husband and I had a king and our 2 grown up sons a twin. Rooms were of a good size and very comfortable. Could not fault cleanliness - daily maid service. If I had to fault anything it would only be that the shower cubicle in the twin was very small - walk in shower in king room. All areas of the hotel were spotless - bar area/breakfast area and reception. All staff were very friendly and helpful and reception staff fluent in several languages. The position of the hotel is great, just a short walk to the water bus/ferry and bus stops. We had the best of both worlds here as the hotel is slightly away from the hustle and bustle of the main road, but a very short walk to the beach and a water bus gets you to San Marco in about 10 minutes. All in all a great place to stay and we thoroughly enjoyed every moment - even fun getting lost in Venice most days, but you get to see so much more that way😁

Close to the sights, away from the tourists.
We're regular visitors to Villa Pannonia. The location is perfect, just a few minutes walk from the Lido vaporetto stop which means that you can be in the heart of Venice in just a few minutes. It's wonderful to be so close to the main sights of Venice but really away from all of the tourists. We always get a warm welcome here. Our favourite Venice hotel.

Comfortable, clean, quality
Easily walkable from the main Lido port (Lido SME). Just one street away from a main road with restaurants, gelato, etc. Rooms were comfortable with nice amenities. Breakfast was good, with a range of pastries, hard boiled eggs, toasts, coffee/cappuccino, juices, etc. Staff were very friendly and helpful.

This a beautiful hotel, the staff that work at the front are wonderful. The hotel is fairly close in walking distance to the dock that you have to take the waterbus, and it is extremely close to all of the restaurants and bars. The beach is about 10 minutes walking distance which is amazing, and Lido is it's own little town. One of the things I didn't care for about this hotel is the light systen, you have to keep the hotel key inside of a slot in order for the lights to stay on and for the TV to be on, and the TV doesn't have virtually anything to watch. Another downside is that you only get one room key per family, and you have to leave it at the desk when you leave in the morning so they can clean your room (so if you plan on going anywhere separately you have to meet somewhere to access the room). There is no pool, and there is no gym, that's another downside. Other than that, the hotel is lovely. It is a smaller hotel, so the rooms are farther apart rather than right next to each other. Therefore, it is a quiet experience. We enjoyed our stay. 😊

Dear Ashley, perhaps we haven't explained you well that we need to have the key at the reception (which is open 24 hours) for security reasons. At any time, there is a receptionist to give you the first key, or the second one (manual key). No need to meet somewhere to access the room!

The staff were outstanding: friendly and helpful. The room was charming and spacious, very clean and well attended. We loved how close it was to the promenades. It was great to get away from the crowds and bustle of the main areas of Venice at the end of a long day of being tourists. Easily walkable from the vaporetto, even with a suitcase in tow. A perfect choice.

One of the nicer hotels in Lido Docks
Pros: + conveniently located close to the Main Street in Lido with all the restaurants, and to the Lido Docks for vaporetto access, + staff were always courteous and accommodating (they brought someone in to turn on the air conditioner when asked, had umbrellas for loan and provided a kettle on request), + provided room for 3 people was very spacious - buffet breakfast selection was fresh but a bit limited.

The property was modern with everything you could ask for. Lovely hot shower with complimentary slippers which was a nice touch! The breakfast was the usual continental style breakfast with plenty of choice. Eg cereal meats cheese toast pancakes eggs juices tea and coffee. The bed was very comfortable...loved the bed! The hotel was a short walk from the waterbus station and was quite easy to find. There is not alot to do in Lido it is more of a base away from the hustle and mustle of Venice. We enjoyed our stay there and the staff were very helpful.

A great place to stay in Venice Lido
Great hotel on Venice Lido. Only a short walk away from the waterbus and many good places to eat and drink nearby, away from the crowds over on the main parts of Venice. Excellent service from the staff too, especially on arrival.
