Wonderful host
Host met us at the airport boat shuttle and walked us to the apartment, then was extremely helpful showing us around the place as well as provided a map with various things around Venice. Apartment was very clean, great location and had everything we needed.

Spacious apartment in quiet but convenient central location.
This is spacious 2 bedroom flat one minute from the San Samuele vaperetto stop where we were met and shown to the apartment. The apartment is well furnished and eqipped. It is 3 minutes to Campo San Stefano with a range of cafes and restaurants. Highly recommended.

Great apartment near it all in Venice
We spent 4 nights at this wonderful well located apartment, a few steps from the S. Samuele vaparetto stop. The apartment is spacious, nicely decorated and well equiped (dishwasher, washer, air conditioning, etc.) Serena our host was very helpful and responsive to our inquiries.

Lovely house in a great area
Large, comfortable, clean, with a great little balcony for morning coffee, tea. Also it's location is very convenient to everything in Venice. We are a family of 4 and we all really enjoyed this place to stay.

Beautiful stay in Venice
Serena waited for us at the vaparetto stop, we were delayed and got there 11/2 hours later than anticipated. She was warm and friendly and walked with us to the apartment. The apartment is exactly as seen in the pictures. It was exceptionally clean and had everything we needed. The kitchen was stocked with coffee and tea. There were plenty of dishes and cookware too! The living room and master bedroom are spacious, the second bedroom is comfortable. All beds were quite comfortable. There is a lovely balcony. Having coffee out there in the morning made us feel as though we were true Venetians The location was perfect. We were able to get everywhere we wanted to go with little hassle. We really enjoyed the quiet small osterias nestled along all the streets.

Lovely apartment!
We had the privilege to stay in this lovely apartment on our short trip to Venice. It is exactly as pictured. Very clean and comfortable. The beds were great, modern bathroom and kitchen and the air conditioning worked wonderfully. Super cute balcony covered with a grape arbor for having a glass of wine in the evening overlooking a quiet Calle. The street in front was quiet with local shops and restaurants. Within walking distance of many popular attractions, too. Serena texted me with instructions to get to the area from the airport and met us at the vaporetto dock for the short walk to the apartment. I would love to stay there again!

Lovely, Convenient, Spacious!!!
We visited Venice in April and discovered this is the best time of the year to visit this spectacular city!! We found this fabulous apartment on VRBO and we were not disappointed. The apartment is surprisingly spacious and very comfortable. The beds were very comfortable and there were options for pillows, extra blankets and plenty of storage so we did not have to live out of our suitcases. The bathroom is sparkling clean and everything works well. The shower is a bit tight but functional and not out of the ordinary for a European bathroom. The kitchen was well appointed and very functional. The sofas in the living room are comfortable and both are fold out beds. We spent most of our time outside on the gorgeous terrace!! Someone came in to clean during our stay and did a great job. The whole apartment is very clean, very comfortable and very Venetian!!! The location was a few short steps to the San Samuela water bus stop and very near several shops, a grocery, restaurants and coffee shops. We felt very safe and secure in the apartment. We have no complaints or regrets regarding renting this fabulous apartment. Serena was very responsive to our communications prior to our stay and she made our check in very convenient for us. And we absolutely fell in love with Venice!!

Quiet and comfortable
Serena was great. We got in at the same time as another of her guests so she sent her assistant to meet us at the water taxi stop. There was a closer stop than the one she told us to get off on, but we think it was a timing issue. Not a huge deal but we were surprised to find a much closer stop the following day. Serena showed us around the apartment, went over some suggestions on the map, allowed us to check in much earlier than the time specified and we were able to leave our luggage at the door the day of departure so we could enjoy our last day in venice not lugging our luggage around. We loved the location, it was quiet and quaint and close to water taxi stop. Less than 10 min walk to St. Marks Square and a short walk to many restaurants, outdoor cafes, etc. We loved Venice! The apartment was perfect for what we were needing. We were never there except to sleep and shower. We never used the upstairs (kitchen/living room), we were always on the go. The location was great, far enough away to feel like you weren't a tourist, but close enough to do all the tourist things.

Feels like home!
Our stay was amazing at the apartment from the minute we arrived off the boat to the minute we left! We especially enjoyed the terrace, which was great for relaxing after a day of sightseeing or for starting the day with coffee! We would definitely stay here again should we find ourselves returning to Venice!

Perfect for our stay in Venice!
Serena met us at the water taxi and took us directly to the apartment. She showed us the ropes and gave us directions to all of our planned destinations. The apartment was clean and well equipped. Plenty of space. Nice little balcony. King bed, 2 twins, and sleeper sofa in the living room.

Great apartment, plenty of room, everything you need for a wonderful stay in Venice!
Serena was wonderful! Quick to respond to questions pre-arrival and also on day of arrival, as our train was delayed. There were no problems at all during the rental, but I have no doubt that she would've been readily available. The apartment is in a quiet location in the center of Venice, very close to everything yet just enough off the beaten path to get a break from the crowds. From the main entrance, you walk up a set of stairs to the floor with the 2 bedrooms and the full bath. From there, up another flight of stairs to the living room, kitchen and small balcony. The kitchen was equipped with everything needed. We shopped in the Rialto market one morning, then cooked dinner in that night, a fun time! The overall experience with this apartment and host was great, and would definitely stay here again!

Wonderful apartment in a quiet neighborhood
Serena met us promptly at the vaporetto stop. The apartment was only a small walking distance which was nice after parking the car at the Tronchetto. Once in the lovely apartment she carefully covered the basic information needed for our stay. The air conditioning was a delight with the temperature already over 90 degrees outside. After a busy day dealing with crowds it was always nice to come back to our quiet home and neighborhood of San Samuele. A trip to Burano island was nice for color and a different perspective of the city. Go in the later afternoon when most of the people are returning; then you will have the island to yourself. Thanks Serena.

My stay from June 10-12 2016
We were a family of 4 including a 8 and 10 yr old that stayed here. The apartment has been renovated, is very spacious, clean, with a modern kitchen and bathroom and is beautifully decorated. It has the charm of a Venetian house with fabrics and exposed ceiling wood beams.The house is split across 2 levels. We arrived very late (around 10:30PM ) in Venice but Sareena had ensured that her property manager was there to meet us at the Veparetto stop and walk us to the apartment as it can get confusing at night if you do not know the streets. Here she gave us all the information we had requested and a great orientation of Venice on a map which was super helpful in planning our daily activities. In addition, the apartment had plenty of towels, AC in every room and excellent coffee and a high bandwidth WiFi!! The apartment is about a 10-15 minute easy walk to San Marco, Dodges Palace, Rialto bridge and about a 30 second walk to the closest Veparetto stop. Everything in the property description is accurate. Sareena was very accommodating by storing our luggage for a few hours after the check out time as we had a late train out of Venice. She was very prompt in responding to all my questions that helped me plan my visit. Everything was delivered as promised. We were very pleased with our stay and I would highly recommend this property!

Great Location in Venice
We spent three nights in this two bedroom apartment located in the Campo San Samuele neighborhood. We took an Alilaguna boat from the airport to the Zaccharia stop where Serena met us. Normally one would get off right at the San Samuele stop which is a short walk to the apartment but there was a boat race going on the day we arrived so the Grand Canal was closed to public transportation. Serena was a good source of information about the apartment and the local area. There were also guidebooks and maps available in the living room. The apartment is on a quiet street in the Campo San Samuele neighborhood. The entry hall is on the ground floor; two bedrooms and a full bath are on the 1st floor and a spacious living room and eat-in kitchen are on the 2nd/top floor. There is also a nice balcony with outdoor seating accessed from the living room. The apartment is tastefully furnished with comfortable furniture. We ate most of our meals out, but the kitchen is well equipped for preparing your own meals if you wish. The bedrooms had very comfortable beds and there was plenty of closet space for all our things. The location was great; we were close to Campo Stefano which had shops and restaurants. It was also close to the Rialto Bridge in one direction and the Piazza San Marco in the other direction. We enjoyed being part of the Samuele/Stefano neighborhood for a few days and even began to recognize the locals as they went about their business. There is a nice cheese and wine shop just around the corner from the apartment that we visited more than once. We have been to Venice several times but this was the first time we have rented an apartment there. We found this San Samuele apartment to be a good choice and would highly recommend it to those seeking quiet accommodations that are close to the major sights.

Beautifully appointed with a great introduction by the owner. Excellently equipped with bonus cold bottle of prosecco. Very good location. Lovely decor. Only downside was only one bathroom for 5 people.

Die Wohnung liegt sehr zentral ( Sehenswürdigkeiten und Einkauf), die Ausstattung ist sehr gut, ruhig, nur für den „Hobbykoch“ ist das Inventar etwas dürftig.

Appartamento ampio, ottima posizione si raggiunge in 15 minuti sia Piazza San Marco, Teatro La Fenice e Ponte Rialto, vicino al Ponte dell'Accademia. Vicino a vari ristoranti e bar, in una zona tranquilla dove si trovano anche dei negozi e Gallerie d'Arte particolari. Proprietaria molto gentile e precisa. Sicuramente esperienza da ripetere.

Ein sehr schönes Appartement - aber nichts für ältere Leute
Das Appartement ist ein sehr angenehmes und ruhiges Zuhause. Es erstreckt sich auf drei Etagen was es aber genau deshalb so perfekt macht. Das wohnen ist vom eigentlichen Schlafen getreten. Die Stiegen sind schmal und steil also richtig Venezianisch. Die Vermieterin und ihre Helfer sind sehr sehr hilfsbereit und die guten Seelen des Hauses - sie kommen aber nur auf Verlangen. Alles in Allem ein sehr ruhiges und empfehlenswertes Appartement das wir sicherlich wieder mieten würden.

Perfect!
A perfect place to stay when visiting Venice. We have just got back from a week staying in Serena's apartment / house and thoroughly enjoyed our visit to this beautiful city. The location of the apartment couldn't be better - a very quiet side street just off the Grand Canal, a few minutes walk from the Accademia bridge and only a short walk to San Marco and the Rialto. The apartment was very comfortable for four of us ( two adults and our two teenage daughters) and we enjoyed spending time there after a busy day sightseeing. The beds are extremely comfortable, all the rooms are spacious and the shower is excellent - plenty of hot water. Having the dishwasher and the coffee machine were welcome extras and we very much appreciated the extra touches that Serena included such as the coffee pods, the bottle of Prosecco on arrival and the oil and other necessary basics in the kitchen. Serena's instructions on how to get from the airport to the centre and meeting us at the Vaporetto stop, even though we arrived late in the evening and our flight was delayed, was very much appreciated. The information she gave us when we got to the apartment about where to visit and how to get around helped us plan our days and ensure we saw all of the places we wanted to visit. We would definitely stay here again.Thank you, Serena.
