The hotel is located very close to the Piazza San Marcos 8 minute walk. The hotel is super clean and rooms are beautiful. A lot of restaurants around. The staff is fantastic!! They went above and beyond to meet my needs. I highly recommend this hotel.

Great service, staying here was like going back in a Time Machine or living the stuff fairy tales are made of. At the same time. The hotel is a 7 ish minutes walk away from the most crowded areas, so peaceful. We will be back for sure. Thank you!

A lovely hotel a stones throw away from the hustle and bustle. The picture of the junior suite online does not do justice, it certainly is much much better than what it looks like! Definitely a big thumbs up from us for our 2 day stay whilst exploring Venice.

The staff was FANTASTIC! Very friendly and knowledgeable. I felt they "over sold" my canal view. Definitely wasn't worth extra money. Bathrooms were small. Practically no counter space to hold toiletries. Other than that, we enjoyed ourselves.

Lovely Hotel, In quieter area of Venice which has some lovely restaurants away from the hubbub and more tourist areas. Staff were very friendly and helpful, organised boat tours/taxis/gondolas Rooms beautiful, gondolas can be hired just outside. highly recommend.

Not the greatest stay. Walls are thin which makes it difficult to sleep at night. Breakfast which i oaid for before hand was frustrating. Although you get there before others you still happen to see them order before you. All in all there are much better places to stay in venice.

Well appointed, elegantly furnished, staff fantastic, good size room (for Venice - we had a panoramic), bathroom beautiful. Only criticism would be for the first night we had a room with an adjoining door to the next room, and with some noisy neighbours we had a disturbed nights sleep. We raised this and were given another room without an adjoining door which was perfect - the staff were very understanding and helpful and it was no problem (but my recommendation is specify this in your booking). That aside perfect stay, beautiful building, brilliantly positioned for the key sights, close to vaporetto stop for the islands (Murano and Burano etc) and elsewhere - highly recommended.

Disappointing
The hotel has a good location. It's a new hotel. But it is not yet completed as there were plenty of incomplete areas of the hotel and rooms. We complain a few times and were ignored. There is no space in the bathroom to hang up your thing's and the bedroom lights are horrendously powerful. There is no lounge to relax either so basically it's not much of a hotel rather just some room's, and we had one that looked nothing like that advertisement in the pictures. Shared spoons used at the veg breakfast. The shower kept leaking all night. I could go on and on about these issues. I would stay somewhere else if I knew about these issues

This was a fantastic place to stay in Venice! The location was perfect: walking distance to St Mark’s Square and Basilica, great restaurants and bars nearby and the Rialto Bridge is also a short walk away. Really couldn’t fault the service in the hotel as everyone was super friendly and went out of their way to help you. As the hotel is relatively new everything was really clean. There were a few things which need tweaking to make this hotel perfect: firstly it was quite hard to find the hotel as there wasn’t a sign on the front of the building (had to walk up and down the canals trying to find it and despite some incorrect directions given to me from local restaurants, I eventually found it), the room had only one mirror in the bathroom and could benefit from having a full length mirror in the main room. And finally the safe in the room should be secured in a wall or cupboard as one could literally pick it up and walk away with it (which defeats the purpose of a secure safe). In general however, I did have a pleasant stay at the Palazzo San Lorenzo and would recommend this place to stay.

Set in a lovely location - when we eventually found the hotel. Make sure you put in the building number as Palazzo SAN Lorenzo drops you about 500m away. Very good local restaurants and bars. Pictures on website makes everything look bigger than what they actually are. Bathroom was incredible and the shower was easy to use and like being in a mini waterfall. The lift had a few problems but was being fixed whilst we were there, could prove a problem for those less able to walk although that’s the problem with the whole city - not wheelchair friendly! Porter who helped take our bags to the room explained that mini fridge was complimentary - NOT TRUE. Coffee in the room is free, all mini fridge items cost. The good outweigh the bad for us. 85/100 for me!

Sehr sauberes, zentral gelegenes Hotel.
Das Hotel hat uns sehr gut gefallen. Es liegt sehr nahe zu den bekannten Sehenswürdigkeiten - Markusplatz, Campanile, Dogenpalast und Rialto Brücke. Die Zimmer sind sehr sauber. Alles ist mit Parkett bzw. Bad mit Fliesen verlegt. Kein Teppich dient als Dreckschleuder. Nur die Einrichtung der Zimmer ist etwas spartanisch. Es fehlt beim Deluxe Zimmer z.B. eine Sitzcouch oder ähnliches. Das Frühstück wird wegen Covid-19 serviert. Der Service ist aufmerksam und wirklich hilfsbereit. Alles in allem eine sehr gute Wahl.
