Had a great experience overall, Following the Google Maps directions not so easy. Try using Apple Maps instead. Stayed 2 nights, bed was super comfy. Hotel was clean, very beautiful history decor. Only negative I have is the pictures were not accurate, the pictures of the views were misleading. Based on the price in Canadian we paid. In the end, I am happy with the locations. Because it was quiet in the mornings and in the evening. And I will always remember the hotel as we got Engaged there.

The hotel is perfectly located to all the sites in Venice as well as dining and shopping. Breakfast is great. The hotel is very clean and the staff was always helpful. I'd recommend this hotel to anyone.

Last minute decision to add an extra day during a work trip to visit Venice. There was a good 20 of us spread out around the city. Two of us selected this beautiful hotel for ease of access from the water shuttles and the adults only was appealing as a nice escape from screaming kids. Well adults only meant retirees and it did feel as if you were staying at your parent’s house, sneaking in at midnight getting the evil eye from staff. There were many flight issues and we had 1 woman in our group who needed a place to sleep for a few hours. We had a king bed for 2 of us and thought it no issue to squeeze her in rather than letting her sleep at the airport. No go for this hotel. DO NOT bring anyone EXTRA into your room. Offering to pay for an extra person is also not allowed. Hotel staff will make you feel like a criminal. Trying to find another hotel for our coworker at midnight was impossible but luckily someone else had a place across town that could accommodate her and she did not need to sleep on a bench outside of the hotel. If you are coming to Venice to enjoy the night life and possibly meet a friend for an evening of enjoyment, this hotel is NOT for you. As a couple of 40 year old women with plans to relax, shop, and enjoy wine were made to feel like wild teenagers disgracing their parents home. The hotel property was beautiful. Very clean and definitely safe. I’d absolutely come back here with my parents but not with my friends!

The hotel is in a great location, the waterbas from the airport stops along an alley to the left of the hotel. Its about a 10 minute walk to the basillica and 15 minures to Rialto Bridge. Hotel is spotless and staff are friendly and helpful

I surprised my girlfriend with a trip over to Venice for her birthday. The rooms looked over one of the canals and it was just so quiet and peaceful every morning. Room was a decent size considering we did a lot of walking and sight seeing during the day. The only take away was that the AC was not working but luckily we were able to have a staff member find us a fan. If you're looking for a spot for just you and your spouse this would be your place. Walking distances to restaurants and right off the Giglio port for any water transportation we needed. Also LGBTQ friendly for any of our community members out there!

Couldn't control the thermostat. Woke up covered in red dots. Wether from mosquitos or bed bugs. Talked to staff all they did was give me this useless plug in that did nothing. Wish i could post pictures of what this place did to my skin

Amazing place. Second time staying at this hotel. Staff is very friendly. Rooms are very clean, a bit small but very clean. Hotel is always kept clean. Highly recommend this hotel. My wife loved it !

The hotel was nice our room was an attic in the roof so it was really hot and only had one very small window, so they need to bring a fan to us in March as the air conditioner was not in use at that time, I would try to avoid that room. The staff were very help and kind

The hotel and our room seré excellent. The only thing we didn’t like was the fact we did not have a nice view from our window; it looked over a very narrow street and therefore could see closely the building on the other side. We highly recommend this hotel but pick well the room!

Everything was excellent. My only comment is that I wanted a queen or king size bed, but I got 2 full beds put together, and during the night some times these would separate. It made it very uncomfortable to sleep.

Great hotel. We were in one of the bedrooms facing the square at the front - thank you for placing us on a low floor with a lift as we are all around 70 and one had just had a knee op. We were very surprised that the square was lovely and quiet at night times. The breakfast gave a good range of choice on the continental side. (I cannot comment on the English breakfast as I didn't have it). The hotel is ideally placed being about 10 mins walk from the busy St Mark's area. Would definitely use again..... especially as they have "proper" room service, unlike many hotels these days. My only complaint would be that the coffee provided in the room is really not very nice, but the shower is wonderful! Incidentally, as the hotel tells you, use the orange line ferry from the airport. The men there told us to use the blue line rather than wait 10 mins extra for the orange one (and only 50 metres walk .... humph!) .... don't - the orange stop is very close to the hotel and much better when you have luggage to transport.

Do not Recommend!
The room had no air flow and even though it was winter, the room was extremely hot. There was no way of reaching customer service or fixing the air issue so we had to stay up all night sweating. Additionally the room is just not nice and there’s no space to move around the bed or store your belongings without being able to walk. The bathroom was also extremely out dated and there was barely any lighting. Overall, if you’re looking for a place to vacation or stay for a pleasant weekend in Venice, do not stay here. It honestly ruined our vacation not being able to sleep or feel clean in this place.

OK place to stay in a pinch
First the staff at the front office was nice, we were offered a tour of a Murano glass factory which included a water taxi ride, we enjoyed this and were very appreciative. It shows the hotel was at one point was superb, however it needs a little update and some tender loving care. Being near the water, you can expect moisture however the matting inside the frame in our room had mold, we let the staff know when we left but it wasn't enough to ruin our trip or change rooms. We felt it was cold enough to avoid any issues.

Great hotel in Venice!
The location was great, shopping, dining, transportation, and all of the hot spots were in walking distance. The hotel is clean, the room was spacious, comfortable, and the shower had amazing water pressure. My favorite part of this hotel was the hotel bar, there was live music, and great cocktails! The band was great, the bar was full, and it was a great way to end the evening. The staff was friendly, helpful, and always available. This was a great hotel for our 2 night stay in Venice.

Access to water taxis with luggage is vital in Venice. This hotel had an entrance on a canal just for water taxis and was only a few steps away from a public vaparetto stop.

We had a great short stay in Unahotels Ala Valencia! The view from our room to the grand canal was picturesque. The location is also convenient for shopping and other attractions. The hotel staff were all friendly and very accommodating. Would definitely recommend staying here.
