"What an amazing stay, from the moment you step in you see that a lot of thought was put both to the rooms and the public places. We enjoyed our stay and Stefano's hospitality.
The location is a bit isolated and you will need a car but that's also what makes it great, few minutes walk from various beaches the nearest town is only few minutes away.
Unfortunately this time it was a short visit but we will come back for sure. "

"A decent sized room. Furnishings looked very slightly faded. Fantastic view. Excellent breakfast and good waiters. Bar on top of hotel was rather small but good view and drinks were good. Very good front desk staff. Very friendly. Altogether a good holiday hotel in the smart centre of Palermo and I recommend. They have a very good parking service at a cost."
"Had the most lovely stay here.
First time in Palermo so the location was good for exploring nearby markets and the many many alleyways in search of hidden bars and restaurants.
Pool was an excellent bonus to cool off after a day exploring. Shame the drinks were so much more expensive than any nearby bar (10.50 euros for a lager!!) had they been more like 6 or 7 euros we’d have made more use of the hotel bar.
Had a great pool DJ on our last day playing chilled tunes that were very welcome after the ‘interesting’ choice of bar music (think fairground circus, marching band, 70s Carry-on film) played on loop everyday!
Loved our balcony view watching the cruise liners leave of an evening. Yes it’s a main busy road but close the doors and you can’t hear a thing.
Excellent breakfast. Lots of choice and wasn’t the same every day.
Would I return? Yes 👍"
"The Pros
Perfect Location: The hotel is in an ideal spot, and our room had a great location with a wonderful private patio.
Excellent AC & Cleanliness: The property was very clean. The biggest highlight was having individual mini-split AC controls—a total dealbreaker for us.
Dinner Perks: Unlimited wine carafes during dinner.
The Cons
Cramped Room & Zero Privacy: The room was very small, barely fitting a corner closet and two chairs. Worse, the bathroom was separated from the bed by only a sliding glass door, offering zero privacy and amplified acoustics. A solid door or separate water closet is badly needed.
Poor Bathroom Layout & Maintenance: The trim and plaster need attention, and the shower routinely flooded the bathroom floor. Housekeeping also annoyingly left clean towels on the bidet.
Impractical Amenities: The mini-fridge is too small to hold standard liter water bottles. Additionally, the pool bar is inconveniently located far away in the lobby, with confusing rules about using different glasses at different times.
Misleading Value & Food: For the price, it is misleading that the resort is not all-inclusive—only breakfast is included. While breakfast was acceptable for Italy, dinner is not worth staying around for. You can find much better, cheaper culinary options nearby in Cefalù."
"The hotel itself was good, and the room was cleaned every day. However, the location was very disappointing. The beach closest to the hotel was closed, so we had to take three buses to reach Mondello Beach.
The area around the hotel smelled strongly of rubbish, and it was very noisy because of the nearby bus depot, with buses constantly sounding their horns. Public transport was unreliable, as the buses to the city centre were often late. There were also no shops, restaurants, or other facilities within walking distance.
Unfortunately, the city centre also smelled of rubbish, which made the overall experience even less enjoyable. Because of these issues, I would not recommend this hotel, and I would not choose to visit Sicily again."
"We had an interesting experience with Hotel Bell 3. Arrived at the airport around 10am, and were supposed to be picked up by the hotel's driver. Well, it took us 1hr and 10-15 minutes to clear passport control, and once we got our luggage and went outside, driver was no where around. We called the hotel and they told us that the driver "waited an hour and left". However, he demanded that we pay him just the same. We took an Uber (taxi) to the hotel, which was $98 (quoted $68).
We, of course declined to pay the hotel driver, which made things even worse. He flatly refused to drive us anywhere. Hotel was literally far away from everything, There were no stores, bus stops, or other restaurants around.
We had to take the Uber where ever we went, which was super expensive. Trip to the town was $60-70, and to the beach $80-90, one way. Somewhere in the middle of our stay, we patched things up with everyone, and then took a hotel transport to the town and a beach.
Other than that fiasco, we liked the staff, reception personnel, waiters, housekeepers, everyone was super nice and accommodating. However, if we were to plan another trip to Palermo, I'd choose accommodation closer to the city or a beach."
If you're interested in something a little quirkier than the traditional hotel experience, a bed and breakfast could be the perfect alternative for your trip.
