Absolutly charming room within walking distance of market and doewtown shopping. Steps away from old town restraunts. We loved our stay. Hists were helpfull and attentive. Really lovely breakfast to order. Highly recomend.

It was a special experience in a beautiful restored old house, small but with good vibes and an eye for detail in a nice mixture of old and modern. Very stylish. The host was excellent and the breakfast superb.

Unique old building near a church within a walled neighbourhood with few restaurants and a convenient shop. Only complaint is walking up 4 flights of steps with luggage. Good and romantic candlelight breakfast

Very odd property. Lots of cool old things. Really makes you feel like you’re staying in an old history museum. The hosts worked with us despite our odd schedule and the property fit all of our needs.

If you’re considering this property, read all the info about location, parking and stairs and contact the host for advice if you can. Ours was a very last minute booking, so our arrival, parking and negotiating all those stairs wasn’t easy. Our host was so helpful on the phone - and so patient because I was nearly in tears. We had a lovely evening, and the breakfast next morning deserves 5 stars on its own.

It was a very unique property. We enjoyed it once we arrived. We loved the breakfast. The host was very kind. He carried our suitcases up the steps. It was a little difficult to find. There is an elevator that will take you up to the old town of Ventimiglia. The elevator is a little bit more than halfway in the tunnel towards the marina. Don’t do what we did and wander the wind, the steep roads to find it. 😊

My initial room did not even have a window. Everything full of dust. The floors dirty. Awful. The service was friendly. I could not goto other place.

We loved this bed 'n breakfast! The hotel very comfortable and uniquely decorated with old paintings and antiques. The highlight is the superb breakfast spread on the upper balcony patio surrounded by plants. As well as the most gracious and hospitable host! We decided to stay in Ventimiglia as a half way train stop between Arles, France and Florence, Italy. What a surprise to find this unusual hotel in the Old Village. (side note, take the elevator/lift from inside the tunnel instead of climbing a hundred stone steps with backpacks in the heat- or be civilized and take a taxi). We stayed 2 nights, the place was peaceful and we were completely refreshed.

Quirky unique place, good food nearby

Quirky and pretty unique place on the top floor of an old style apartment building which itself is on top of a hill, reached up steep alleys and stairways. Very atmospheric, especially at night. Good restaurants nearby so you don't have to go down the hill and back up again to eat!
