"My family stayed here on a weekend in May. The checkin was simple as the door was unlocked for us. Shelley, the property owner I assume, was friendly and easy to deal with. The home was stocked with the basics, including towels and a random assortment of food and seasonings, although we brought our own. My only recommendation would be to add a cork screw and possibly look at making the ice maker functional. The A/C worked fine, although it was always a little warmer in the master bedroom....

"It’s an old house. It’s not a 5 star hotel. My wife and I enjoyed the stay. We booked a last minute getaway for the weekend to relax. She likes old houses and when we looked at it, it was what she was looking for."

"Clean home, with everything you need for a comfortable stay. The home is recently updated, and they did a great job keeping original features that make this classic Garden District home so charming! Easy check-in, convenient location, with plenty of little guest friendly touches (makeup wipes, coffee aplenty, fans in each bedroom). My husband and I shared the rental with friends, and we kept talking about how nice the place is!"

"We rented to attend an engagement party. We had adult children and grandchildren staying with us. The home was spacious and clean. The furniture was up to date and the beds were firm but comfortable. We loved the dock and BBQ grill. We had a great time."

"Yes, the property was clean/new, but the neighborhood looks very sketchy, and I was uncomfortable with the area. THEN, we had to move on Thanksgiving Day because we had no running water. The first night, it did not get hot, and we asked them about it, and they said they would fix it and offered for us to take a shower in one of their other homes. With no choice other than not have a bath, we did go to the other property to take a shower of which was recently occupied and dirty. Then, 2nd day, no...

"We had a great stay at Bikini bottom on false river. The property was as described in the listing, Claire was on the ball with communication via text. Check in/out was a breeze. What a great view of the lake from the awesome deck/dock. Just an excellent stay which was out of the way of the chaos of LSU campus. Very peaceful. We hope to stay here again the next time we visit our Tiger!"

"We selected False River and this property as a meeting location for family to spend the holidays together. The main floor was perfect for visiting, playing games, and celebrating. We used the outdoor fire pit for two days straight. The bedrooms were spacious and the dock area was amazing. What a great spot!"
