House was lovely and comfortable. We stayed 2 nights and had our 2 dogs with us. Private yard was perfect. Would definitely recommend!

Nice quite neighborhood

Property owners were very responsive. The neighborhood was quite. It was a great property to have our two dogs. There was plenty of room for them to run around in the backyard.

Great house in a great location.

Excellent place to stay for grandparents near daughter and grandkids. Loved hanging out in the beautiful backyard. The only improvement suggested is low water pressure in the shower.

Great house in a great location

This home was perfect for my husband, me, and our dogs. It is so bright and cheerful. The rooms were good sized.The home was equipped with everything we needed for our stay.The enclosed back yard was perfect for my dogs to soak up the California sunshine(and that's what they did)! The host was very responsive to our questions and helpful with suggesting local activities.We would definitely stay here again the next time we are in Ventura

Comfortable and convenient

I was in town for several weeks to spend time with an ill relative who lives very close by. It was easy to get to see my family and to walk to Von's (since I didn't have a car), and the house was clean and comfortable. Courtney was quick to respond to any questions, and I expect to stay there again in the upcoming months.

Perfect family beach weekend house!

The house was perfect for our long weekend stay for our family! The house and backyard were very comfortable. We would definitely stay here again. The kitchen had all the things we needed to prepare simple meals. Its close by everything we needed, restaurants, shopping and grocery stores are close by. Very Nice

Layout and neighborhood accurate as noted on VRBO. Walkable community with unique homes and gardens. We were all adults and did not find beach access except for driving. Hosts extremely responsive and kind.

A home away from home

During out stay, I learned that this place was home to our host and their family prior to sharing it with visitors; a sweet sentiment. The home offered charm and comfort; qualities I was looking too when taking time to relax from the day-to-day. There was plenty of space for my party of 4 and our cat. Proximity was great too. The listing was near the wedding venue (the reason for our visit) and close enough to shops and cafes. I look forward to returning and exploring the area more.

Nice little house in good condition.

The house and neighborhood are very nice. the house could use a few more lights. Some of the pots were not adequately cleaned. and I never did get the TV's to work. In spite of the above, I would rent the house again because of the backyard, the neighborhood, in town location, and cleanliness.

6 days after leaving, I got a sever case of Ringworm, Must of been bed linen /Blanket. Mold proble

I'm seeing a doctor today for the Ringworm which started one last Dec. 6th with itchinging. By Sunday the itching was unbearable and I had Red rings (ringworm) in my hair and down to my ankles in random areas. Additionally, the Kitchen was equipped with a random collection eating and cooking ware. Stove and refrigerator were updated and good. Now I am homebound because ringworm is so contagious. Never had an experience like this with VRBO which I have used over the past 6 years.

Lovely walkable bungalow in Ventura

We were down in Ventura for a long weekend and this was the perfect place to stay. There were five adults total including one wheelchair user and Courtney was great about communicating with me beforehand on where we could plug in my brother's wheelchair to charge outside every night, so I really appreciated that! There were a few small cleanliness issues including tufts of pet hair around and some dirty dishes in the drawers/cupboards. There is no AC so it can get fairly warm during the day, but there's plenty of windows to open to get a crossbreeze during cooler parts of the day and there were fans in the bedrooms which I appreciated and always look for in homes. The neighborhood was totally walkable and we even walked to Starbucks one morning which is a 10-minute walk. There's grocery stores and really anything you could need nearby. The outdoor space at this home is wonderful. We were out visiting with family much of the time so we didn't get to utilize it as much as I would've hoped, but it's just lovely. If you need a comfortable space to stay in Ventura, I would highly recommend Courtney's place. Thanks again.

Great location

The best thing I can say about this place is the location. It is in a well established and super quiet neighborhood that is close to everything, with a Vons literally within walking distance. It is showing its age though. I didn't find any cleaning products so it was hard to keep things clean as we went and I do have a hard time with paying a cleaning fee then having to buy cleaning products. No dishwasher and the one sponge provided was small. The shower has a curtain not a door which makes it hard keeping the floor dry so you end up using the one set of extra towels on the floor. The backyard is cute and even though you have neighbors it feels cozy and secluded. The canopy is nice for shade but don't sit under it in the rain, which we found out, because there are holes in the roof portion. There is also a travel trailer parked there too which is fine but feels a bit intrusive. We did have a nice time and we would recommend this place strictly for the peace and quiet.
